Okay look, I know y'all don't perceive me as the modding type, maybe, but I've been working on this for a few days now.
In this mod, I've remade mostly anything remotely related to Sue Sakamoto, with a few key exceptions.
The link to the mod is right here. It should be ready to be booted up as soon once uncompressed, but it should support a custom engine like doukutsu-rs (In this case you just have to drop the .exe file next to the already existing executable!).
Fair warning, Sue's practically gonna be absent for a good part of the mid-game. That's just how Cave Story goes.
I'll probably be uploading the sprites in the coming days for the sake of access. For now, enjoy!
