Jonathan Lyons and Marten Pine, escaped enlightened genetic constructs (originally created by the Progenitors, genetic mad-scientists of The Technocracy) cruise through the square in Copenhagen in Marten’s 1940’s restored Triumph motorcycle/side-car, obviously on another secret mission for the Order of Hermes and the Sons of Ether.
This too WAY too long to do, and there are WAY too many mistakes. I can see why most artists do simple character poses. Interesting backgrounds can be dropped-in photos, etc., but complex props like vehicles, requiring (shudder) perspective make any project like this into a real chore, unless you are lucky enough to have a “natural eye” for such things.
The motorcycle was drawn from a photo of a toy model, the details from several photos of real motorcycles. The background is a photo I took while in Europe for EuroFruence 7. I tried to use the “transform” function in Photoshop to make the background work better… sorta worked I guess.
The lion and pine marten are Changa and my Mage RPG characters. Maybe I’ll give this concept another try… maybe not.
My mate Seriayne and I will be at FA United, where I will have some panel/discussions on Furry houses and history and stuff. Hope to see a lot of you there!
