Exactly 14 years ago today mapleflynn.bsky.social surprised me with the Vial of the Sands in World of Warcraft. This was a potion created by players specialized in the Alchemy profession. Drinking the potion allows the player to transform into a dragon! Other players could then ride on your back and you could fly at full mounted speed. The recipe was hard to obtain, the ingredients were rare and expensive, and at the time it was a pretty rare sight in game.
