When you're stuck in a drawing rut, and all else fails, sculpt. :B It's relaxing as hell.
I had a lot of fun sitting back and planning this little guy. You can't see his feet, but he has em, and little toes too. :D He'll go into the oven tomorrow and then get some paint thrown on him. He has some support under his wing, and his chin so they'll stay up properly.
He's 3 inches from his snout to his tail bend, and has a 4 inch wingspan.
And sorry the quality sucks, my room has bad lighting. :/
Made from super sculpey.

1 1/2 years practice of working on a larger sculpting scale. (and failing) And a year's practice of small sculpting?
Plus, it's good to keep any lumps out of your parts when you can correct them easily before you start building. The legs (not visible asjkmjsdcsdj) started out very lumpy, so I smoothed em out before I attached them. Most things are just practice practice practice. XD And error, error, fail, less fail. :'X
