Finally.
Protogen Washington.
George Washington was born on February 22nd 1732 in Popes Creek, Virginia. His father died when he was 11, leaving him with The Mount Vernon plantation. Becoming a Commander during The French and Indian War, the inexperienced Washington ordered an assault on French troops, which further expanded The Seven Years War.
Later he was The Virginia House of Burgesses, and strongly opposed the British oppression of the colonies. When the American Revolutionary War against the British began in 1775, Washington was appointed commander-in-chief of the Continental Army. However the army was severely unequipped and poorly trained, resulting in major defeats.
On December 26th, 1776, Washington crossed The Delaware River, capturing German Hessians by surprise.
In 1777, The Prussian Baron Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben helped Washington train troops in Valley Forge, reforming The Continental Army into a proper fighting force.
In 1787, Washington wanted to retire to Mount Vernon, but he was convinced to return to Philadelphia, where he was unanimously elected as The First President of The United States by The Electoral College in 1788.
