Desolate Desert for Blender 4.3Saddle up on your nameless horse to traverse these harsh desert dunes! This project includes a spacious 1 square kilometer track of desert. To break up the boundless and bare sands you have a mountain range of rocky mesas to use as visual landmarks. Add drama to your scene with a dense volumetric "sandstorm" that can easily be animated in the shader editor. There are also patches of rocks that are scattered among the dunes. Enabling them in the viewport can really slow any machine to a crawl. But because they're instanced with geo nodes they shouldn't affect the render times too much. Regardless, they can be disabled in the outliner because they're on a separate mesh.
