Back to Andur. I consider myself fortunate that I am able to in my sleep I can routinely dream and journey to various dreamscapes and have grand adventures, it is not without its pitfalls. Sometimes my dreams involves dealing with stuff like this.
Recently the Sultan's army fought and won decisive land and sea battles in the war between Andur and the Baghdad Caliphate. This has brought an abrupt halt to one of the threats that loomed on Andur's borders; however there is another more insidious, and far more dangerous crisis that is starting unfold within the very city walls of Andur itself http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4816484/ It is a scenario that not only threatens the Sultan's fair city but the very fundamental balance of the what we mortals would refer to as the universe. It is battle that we in Andur are only beginning to grasp its full ramifications.
At center of this mess is that little terror I call the Scary Shamaness http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1479752/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/805861/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/805835/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1479777/. Using the war to create a distraction she is preparing to enter the Sultan's city to access to one thing she needs to perform the ritual necessary to release her god. The True God in her mind. From imprisonment downstairs. What Hell is referred to by those directly involved in conflict between Heaven and Hell.
These are some sketches of some demons that she has been able to enlist to help her in quest to topple the order of life as we know it. They are throwing their weight in behind her in the belief that they will have greater status in the new universe that the Scary Shamaness and her god envision.
Now this is not the first time that Andur has had to deal with infernal, demonic threats http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1563171/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1626594/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1626613/ in fact within the Sultan's own palace walls he has three individuals who are either entirely or partially infernal in nature who the Sultan considers guests. It is not even the first time that the Shamaness has enlisted aid from infernal quarters http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1777362/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1777303/ However it the first time the Shamaness has planned to use them so overtly. One way or another the battle is sizing up to be an end game play. Sorry if I used a lot of links in this post but this thought/ dream thread is about eight+ years in the making.

This is probably going to sound wrong, but the Shamaness' plan reminds me of the first Ghostbusters film (the whole "resurrect a demonic entity in order to bring about the end of the world" thing), except that, going by what I've read about her so far, she makes Ivo Shandor look like Mother Theresa. Heck, the various monsters she unleashes are far less creepy than her.
Oh I am certain that my subconscious is rummaging around in various corners of my mind for cultural, and pop cultural, material.
The main difference I can see is that she and her god don't want to destroy the world; instead they seek the fundamental destruction of both Heaven and Hell and the creation of an entirely new state of existence. Two both her and her god there should no life and death. No mortal plane, which in my universe is made of multiple states of reality, and then an afterlife. What they seek is a physical state where only those who are strong enough. Ruthless enough. Cunning enough, and willing to make the sacrifices can exist. So long as you can force your existence on the universe you survive. If you are unable to or grow weak then you'll be consumed by those who can. This whole judging souls and then either damning them or granting them paradise is just a waste of resources, and screams of inheritance or entitlement to them! In many ways the universe they seek to create is rather entropic and Darwinistic in nature.
