Did the birch smell good while drawing it out?

It actually doesn't. Just smells like burnt wood. It also made me sneeze non stop for the next days LOL

It has been many years since I drew with a wood-burner. Since I am used to campfires, the smell of burnt-wood can smell good, as it would depend on the kind of wood used.

Sorry to hear that you got into a sneezing fit. Hopefully, you are able to get your breath back.

I have a wood-burner too, so I should dream up of what to draw with it. The main use for it lately was to re-weld cracked plastic cups and containers.
