Biography/Story:

Metal_X is a cybernetic demon residing in a cursed, haunted SEGA CD-esque Sonic game called "Metal.EXE", but the game is titled as "Metal Sonic CD" in which the title masquerades this game as an "Ordinary Hack of Sonic CD". The game was confiscated by SEGA due to the hacked copy of Sonic CD containing "Disturbing Themes", but was found by an intern named Neil, who discovered the confiscated game and tests it out.

The game started out normally at first with a cheery-looking title screen, but the difference is that "Metal Sonic" is in the original Sonic's place on the title with the logo "Metal Sonic CD" on it...but when starting it, that "Metal Sonic" wasn't the real Metal Sonic...but suspiciously, there was red X's on his eyes and looked deadly serious.

The first "level" starts off in the Collision Chaos. The first soul/victim from the start was Steven, who's soul was planted in the body of Sonic the Hedgehog, Steven then ventures throughout said level, only to find Badniks badly destroyed and badly mangled everywhere...with cybernetic blood/oil everywhere (as opposed to dead Critters in typical Sonic.EXE-esque games), Steven then stepped on what appears to be oil along with the head of a Motorbug leaking out oil like it's blood...to Steven's disgust. Steven looked more nauseous, trying to figure out what's going on in here.

But then, a sudden presence showed up and what Steven saw was something that looked like Metal Sonic...suspecting him about the dead badniks, Steven slowly come closer before him, about to confront the machine...But what made Steven feel more suspicious, was an ominous glow, the cold glare, and the red "X" on the eyes from the Metal Faker...

"ARE YOU UP FOR A CHALLENGE, HEDGEHOG?"

The challenge was "TRY AND STOP ME", it's where Steven, in a "Digital Hellish" version of the Collision Chaos in the Bad Future where Steven has to go after the false Metal Sonic. But by the time the Hedgehog got there to his location, he soundly fought "Metal Sonic" and thought he stood Victorious...

But the next thing Steven knows that "Metal Sonic" re-activates and gets up from the fight, Steven turned and stood before him...and saw the "Robot"'s head turn 360 degrees at him, and smiled menacingly, revealing his true nature, he shows a decapitated head of a badnik as he gives Steven a "riddle" for him...

Steven knew that THING wasn't "Metal Sonic" too well...

"TELL ME, HEDGEHOG...

WHO IS THE FIGURE IN THE GAME

A MACHINE STRONGER THAN FLESH

THE SOUNDS OF THE SCREECHING NOISES

THE X THAT MARKS MY NAME

AND YOUR DEMISE??"

He crushed the Badnik's head gruesomely and slowly during his riddle as Steven watched in horror...He knew it, he knew that this "Dangerous Robot" was responsible for the Badnik Massacre, realizing that traces of Oil lured him into a trap. He then finally gives out the answer to the riddle...

"...IT'S ME!!"

Metal_X LAUGHED menacingly like a malicious entity JUST as Steven tried to fight back, but Metal_X grabbed his body and ANNIHILATED HIM...and it cuts to black complete with the pained screams of Steven, accompanied by the picture of his past, Human self's poorly mangled corpse.

"HAVE A NICE DEATH, HEDGEHOG"

"ONE DOWN, MORE TO GO..."

The next and 2nd victim was Thomas, but he is most likely called "Tom" for short, a boy who met an unfortunate fate that resulted his soul stuffed in the body of Tails, the sidekick of Sonic. He finds himself in the Quartz Quadrant, but instead of the level titled "Quartz Quadrant", it's titled "DON'T LOOK BACK". Tom was flying around throughout the Quadrant to look for Metal_X's presence and try to find Steven. While searching for his friend, Tom heard a giggle from nearby and he tries to follow the robotic-sounding giggles from a familiar robot...that giggle must come from Metal_X as a distraction to lure Tom, as Metal_X then rips both of Tom's two tails off and dropped him into a deep depths of the Quadrant.

Tom then suddenly woke up from the ground, coughing out some pebbles after his face got planted to the ground. He finds himself inside the Quadrant's crystal caverns. Tom couldn't be able to fly because of his tails getting ripped off by Metal_X, so he had no option but to take a look in the caverns by running and jumping. The caverns change drastically such as corpses and blood leaking everywhere, reflections of Metal_X were shown, as he kept on crawling and stalking RIGHT behind him, Tom tried so hard NOT to look right behind him, his heart was beating fast and he is sweating in a petrified manner, he tried to run without the menacing android gaining on him...he wasn't fast enough...

When Tom tripped and fell over on a big crystal, his face was planted on the ground. He then got up and coughed some pebbles off of his mouth, and the most big mistake he make...was he turned his head right behind him to see Metal_X, standing MENACINGLY with blood all over his metallic body, with a decapitated head of dead hedgehog on his hand as he showed it to him...

"LOOKING FOR YOUR BEST FRIEND, FOX?"

Tom was traumatized, so traumatized that he backed up in fear, begging Metal_X for mercy...

"YOU WERE TOO LATE TO FIND HIM...AND NOW YOU'LL BE JOINING HIM IN NO TIME!"

Metal_X said to Tom, a gigantic crystal was emerged from the ground and impaled the little fox through the chest. Tom's wails can be heard accompanied by a photo of what remains of Tom...A hole through the chest just like his fate in-game.

"SO LONG, LITTLE FOX"

The third victim was Kyle, who's soul ended up in the body of Knuckles the Echidna. He woke up in the Tidal Tempest Level, but instead of being titled "Tidal Tempest", it's "NOT WORTHY". He ventures around to Tidal Tempest, but reaching out of the Tempest's surface during a level, Kyle not only saw "Metal Sonic", but he spotted a giant ring right behind him, When "Metal Sonic" got through the ring, Kyle proceed to jump in...he reached through a "Special Stage" where he has to destroy all of the UFOs...It's just like those Special Stages you've seen in Sonic CD, however, in this game, things took a VERY wrong turn...

Using his hacking and tech mechanics, Metal_X reprogrammed and control the UFOs to become so dangerous and very destructive, it kills unfortunate victims when touching it. When Kyle attempted to destroy one more of them...a it lets out a huge, destructive explosion like a an explosive device, drastically killing Kyle in the process to the point where the "Special" stage glitched out. A photo of Kyle and his poorly mangled corpse from an explosion, which it's unfortunately coincidental...

"WHO'S STRONGER NOW?"

The fourth one who was a Female named Sarah, the girl who witnessed the unfortunate fate of Steven from earlier, knowing that she was about to be next and it all escalates to the point where her soul gets stuffed in the body of Amy Rose, the female friend of Sonic. Earlier, she spotted Steven in the Collision Chaos level while curiously wanders through the place (and noticing TONS of dead Badniks everywhere) and started following him. When she was about to reach to Steven, Metal_X busted throughout the spikes and suddenly grabbed her! As he flies away with Sarah, Sarah tries to fight back and attack Metal_X in the skies, just as she was about to hammer him and knock him off, she was soon knocked unconscious by Metal_X's sparks

Sarah then woke up from the fall and finds what appears to be "Stardust Speedway", but with the title "COME FIND HIM", she then realized something...she remembers she's been following Steven, so she has to run throughout the Speedway in a hopes that she's not too late, there she has come across was "Metal Sonic"...But there was something even more off, Eggman wasn't around and "Metal Sonic" spoke...

"SO, YOU TRIED TO GET AWAY TO FIND YOUR FRIEND, HUH?"

"SOMETIMES, SECOND CHANCES AREN'T GOOD ENOUGH...NO MATTER HOW HARD WE TRIED..."

"BUT HEY, I'LL GIVE YOU ANOTHER ROUND NEAR THE END, YOU WANNA SEE?"

"IT'S SOMETHING SPECIAL"

Sarah was silent, but then runs quickly. When that happened at one point, a mechanical, demonic voice spoke...

"RUN, HEDGEHOG, RUN"

Sarah then looked back to find that Metal_X's true nature was revealed as he began chasing after her. Just as the menacing machine was about to "Claim his victim" near the finish line, Sarah whacked Metal_X once again with the use of a Hammer in the hopes she made him go away, she was still surprised that Eggman wasn't here, but what she saw after the attempt was a gruesome sight...

She saw a poorly mangled corpse of Steven, with his head decapitated...

Heartbroken and devastated, Sarah fell on her knees and broke down in tears, grieving for the loss of her friend...

As she cried, Metal_X then stood before Sarah, that's because Metal_X is so cunning and intelligent, he pretended to malfunction as a trick when he got "hit" by a hammer. Metal GRABBED her by the neck, strangling her and breaking it, and then split her head in half as he laughed manically. He then turned his head to Neil, the player himself.

Horrified, knowing he was about to be next, Neil tried to escape from Metal_X and attempted to turn off the game...but was soon electrocuted, and then...he blacked out.

Moments later, Neil then woke up in the body of Eggman...

He finds himself in the last round "Metallic Madness", resembling of Eggman's Base on the Little Planet, the title is "???", Neil, suddenly realized his soul's in the game and is about to suffer the same fate as the four victims, Neil frantically ran in a panic, trying to find a way out....but he then reached throughout the depths of the "Base". The base gets more darker and scarier as he reached deeper, mechanical laughter was heard in the echoes of the dark, making it creepy...Then, Neil then saw a door, as he gently opened it to what leads to a room, a hall of the four mutilated corpses of four souls stuffed in Mobian bodies...and pictures of their past, Human-selves faces on the "Save Datas". There what Neil saw up there was himself, in Robotnik's body, with a picture of his face on him...Neil was shocked, realizing that he did ended up like the four of the poor unfortunate souls. Then, Metal_X, in his revealed form, spawns out of nowhere and said...

"THIS IS METAL SPEAKING, TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I TOOK CARE OF THAT HEDGEHOG YOU'RE AFTER SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HIM..."

"AND IT'S NOT JUST THE HEDGEHOG, IT'S ALSO THREE OF HIS FRIENDS, THEY'RE IN MY WORLD NOW AND I RULED IT, THEY'LL LISTEN AND DO AS I SAY, THEY'RE ALL MINE NOW."

"SOON, NEIL, YOU'LL BE JOINING ME JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE SOULS!"

Neil, who was trapped, struggled to get out of this "Box" that is a "Save Data" he was in, only for him to be restrained and sacrificed ritually...his pained screams are heard after the screen cuts to black...Then, Metal_X appeared to the screen and started menacingly at the viewer, writing the words in blood...

"I AM IMMORTAL"

GAME OVER...?
