Something Old to follow Something New. One of my first big, complex art projects, from way back in 1989, the year of the first ConFurence. It's my parody of the poster for the popular anime OAV "Project A-KO". It's the male-furry version, "Project Ichi". The background was cutout professional construction paper with striping tape. The other elements were xeroxed onto Seth Cole Ledger paper, colored with Prisma-color markers and pencils, the cut out and pasted on. The original piece sold at a Worldcon, and this is the only scan I had. The original looked a LOT better...
Besides being a parody os the anime poster, "any similarity to real fursonas is purely intentional".
But that was a loooong time ago...
