On my fat left arm you'll see my first tattoo. There's a very special meaning to this.
My grandfather was everything to me, he was my second dad. I was the only child, he spoiled me. He called me his Pumpkin, guessing my face round such as one when I was little. But we were close, he taught me everything about the outdoors. When I was smaller, I would tell him I'd become a doctor so I can fix him.
He got peacock tattoo when he was serving in the Navy, when I was growing up. I loved that tattoo, I loved the color. A lovely bird. I'd tell him I would get it when I turned 18. There is a meaning to it in the Navy, any one know why?
He was sick last year, he was forgetting to take his medication and his shots. I had to give him a diabetic shots, he taught me how to do it when I was younger. I had to make sure he would drink his medication, that year he had to get a defibrillator put in. The only thing that concerned him was if he other tattoo would get ruined, they made sure they didn't. It was funny. Later after he got it, it went off accidentally, they didn't know why. But we shrugged it off. A few months later, he passed away in our living room, a sight I'll never forget to see him there. But he went peacefully.
It's been one year already. This is why I got that tattoo, sure he is proud I got it. I miss him dearly. In all honestly it didn't hurt very much, in certain places it did. Healing process hurts more. And the circle is the moon, it needs some touch ups but other than that its how it looked from the original.
