As an alien species she wasn’t freaky enough so I went back and made some changes. Aside from now having insectoid appendages and barbed tongue, I also added sparkles to her fur. Her color palette has also been tweaked.

The sparkles aren’t markings but rather she has glittery fibers at the ends of her fur, but only on the dark patches. That being said, there is no need for consistency in how they’re drawn.

I’m still figuring out details about her species, but have considered calling them Clauvenians. The venom in the barb is meant to deteriorate/liquify muscle/fat tissue so they can pierce their prey, paralyze them, and then basically slurp up their liquified muscle and fat like a smoothie. Technically they’re an omnivorous species, but tend to be more carnivorous leaning.
