This is my first attempt at making bread, and it didn't turn out quite how I intended. This is actually my second attempt. First time I put water yeast and salt in a warm place. Unsurprisingly that didn't work. D'oh. Next I correctly added the suger and waited. Annoyingly that still didn't work, but it was late and so I pressed on reguardless.

It was only afterwards that I thought about it and actually bothered to check if the baking bowder I was using actually contained any actual yeast. <facepalm> It didn't.

"I'm sorry to hear your computer is not working sir. Have you checked the power cable?"
