This time, it was supposed to be something with "flowers," namely a rose for a tigress.
Unlike usual, I started with the background and added the characters afterwards, just to give it a try. Somehow it helped the background because it wasn't just thrown on the paper at the end.
Overall, I like this piece and its colors, which became a bit bolder with each of the recent paintings. Something has changed since the "Flow" piece. I don't know if it's because of the tutorials or the brush selection, but the colors and transitions are much more watercolor-like and no longer as muddy as in the recent approaches. It seems after a few paintings of stagnation, things are moving forward a bit.
"A Tigress' Flower"
A rose? I stole away from the ceremony of the great masters. It cost me 100 pieces of copper to buy the silence of that sneaky rhino that caught me half the steps down the temple. I made my way through the undergrowth to secretly arrange a date in a bamboo grove. All that for a rose?
