Just an old sketch I did on a notebook page that I decided to scan, clean up a little, and colour in CSP. I drew it using a fountain pen (a 0.5mm Platinum Preppy from Japan, if you're interested) and using registrar's ink (it's waterproof; great if you're painting over it). The thing I especially like about it is it's a huge departure from my usual, settled style. Years past I had a greater stylistic range and I experimented more. This kind of thing makes me yearn to get back to that.

Oddly enough, there's a pen shop here in town that sells them for a relatively low price, at least in terms of not having to wait months while something crawls across the Pacific. I must somewhere over a dozen of them filled with a few different inks. Love love love love love the permanent documental blue ink I bought.
