American Canine Alpha is a collaborative storytelling project created by Qovapryi and Harlow. The series is presented as a high-stakes, reality competition show featuring thirteen fierce, driven canines from across the United States. These contenders go muzzle-to-muzzle in a wide variety of physical and mental challenges, all for the title of American Canine Alpha and a $250,000 cash prize.

Expect thrilling Team Challenges that test leadership and cooperation, intense Individual Challenges where every canine fights for their survival, and dramatic elimination Duels that leave no room for second chances. But ACA is more than just a contest of strength and wit — it's a dynamic social drama where alliances, rivalries, friendships, and emotional turning points unfold in real time.

The story is serialized for easier reading. Each episode will be posted in two parts for easier reading, coming out on Fridays and Mondays. It may feature strong language, depictions of violence, mature themes, and emotionally intense situations. Viewer discretion is advised.

American Canine Alpha is set in 2021. We are fully aware that the concept of the “alpha male” has taken on problematic connotations in recent years. Our aim is to challenge and redefine that idea - not to celebrate toxic dominance, but to uplift leadership grounded in emotional intelligence, respect, cooperation, and true strength of character.

If you’re new here, we highly recommend checking out our previous season, American Mustelid Alpha, the first iteration of the Alpha franchise that we wrote and published between 2020 and 2021. While it’s not mandatory to be familiar with AMA before diving into ACA, it does provide valuable context and enriches the overall experience.

This project is dedicated to the memory of Alessandro Tognoli - Qovapryi’s mentor, close friend, and the person who first introduced him to the business of TV production. Alessandro passed away aged 36, in March 2024, after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
