Life for Gamma is generally a pretty good deal, she has her adventures, and she gets to do some gaming, both conventionally and within the games she plays. Unfortunately there is one irritation for her, a blemish on an otherwise enviable lifestyle.

A creature, one a Thylacine, has become something far more monstrous. About to gain the ability of those it consumes and thus gaining some minor attributes from past victims, he has targeted Gamma partly due to her game-entering abilities but primarily because of her ability to respawn/"reload saves" both in games.. and real life.

Outside of gaming, Gamma has very little in the kind of equipment and skills that she might have in her games, so their first encounter went about as you might expect, Gamma lasted all but fifteen seconds. However, there was a twist to this situation that has eternally vexed the Thylacine: Gamma respawned, denying him her abilities.

Desperate for her gifts, and realising the only way to take what she has is for Gamma to surrender herself to his jaws, he has hoped to wear Gamma down psychologically over the long term. Unfortunately for him... Gamma is a gamer of tremendous willpower and determination. As such, the two are in a odd sort of stalemate in their opposition to each other, something that often frustrates the both of them.
