Influenz A. is a flamboyant seasonal flu virus who came to Hector from an airborne droplet, then crushed on Strepfinger when he found his office laying dormant with his cat bacterium a stray. His gang ignited hard rain all over the city as they were infecting cell by cell and spreading fever around the upper respiratory system.
Inspired by the disco inferno of Boogie Frights, which is actually a part of the Powerpuff Girls episode about nightmare monsters, so it’s 70s nu-disco party viruses in the city before Strepfinger came back while Hector scratched his nose and escaped the boy’s constant sneezing only to find Influenz in his office with a dummy of Strepfinger’s face slapped on the picture. Influenz was planning to prove his love to Strepfinger next before any second thoughts.
Influenz is voiced by Chris Phillips of Doug, Bubble Guppies and other Nickelodeon shows.
