Sonic Rush Adventure came out for the DS in 2007, and alongside it a brand new character, Marine the Racoon.



Now, Marine is a lot of things. She's spunky, she's an annoying brat, and she's also Australian. But there is one aspect of hers that makes this all even better. One of her biggest fears being the concept of tickle torture at the hands of "Mr. Tickler", a badnik that was first mentioned by Captain Whiskers; the game's antagonist.



Now, we never actually saw what said badnik looks like, nor did we ever see Marine being tickled, but thankfully people like me exist on the internet to bless you all with an idea of what we could've had~



I thought of having it being a giant Octus badnik would make the most sense, keeping in line with the game's ocean aesthetic. It sure makes for some great usage of tentacles as tickle tools in the context of Sonic, anyway.



I also want to give a huge shout-out to my good friend Darkneyom (on DA) for helping out with the colouring and rendering. This piece would not be complete without her aid, so please... Go and show her some love and support. She deserves all of it!
