An Unforgettable Vacation for Joey and friends (Staring Sethrophe, Clement the Lizard and Veronika) Part 2 - A Quail's Pride

Marty and Zen holding each other's hands take a nice little stroll to the Gift from the Sea. Along the way they greet a lot of friendly faces in the street, all of them waving back at the two. "Hey Marty, congrats on you're marriage with Zen, and sorry for not saying this sooner or coming to your wedding" said a local quail who lives outside a two-story house with a large Balcony on the top part of the house from the guy's bedroom where he places his plants.

"It's alright, thanks for your kind words." said Marty and gives the other quail a nice thumbs up as a sign to him to have a good day. Zen proudly smiled a bright and vibrant smile to his sweetheart, he's always in a wonderful mood when he's around Marty but now that they are married he was even more happy than ever before.

Just then they walked near a confidence store named Quickmart, ran by a close friend of Lance, Zen's cousin and owner of GMXMarket. While not as big as the supermarket that Nathan works in it is a nice little shop to buy food and other essentials. Marty and Zen sometimes come here to buy some fruits, vegetables and sometimes stuff to make a nice meal for them and their friends.

Marty then notices a large rack of magazines through the window of the minimarket and sees a fitness magazine called Titan Fitness. He checks his phone and the time was 4:13 PM, the table for the two of them is booked for 4:45 PM and Marty then suggests Zen "Hey sweetie, do you mind if we take a look inside this store."

Zen was rather curious about why the beefy quail needed to go inside the store, but then noticed that Marty has his eyes on the fitness magazine and then he said "You have your eye on a fitness magazine in there, well we both do enjoy reading these types of magazines, so let's have a look to kill some time."

"Ok then, let's get in and have a little look shall we?" Marty said before the two of them with their hands still being held together go into the mini store. He then draws his attention to the magazine rack and the magazine and the main reason that they came here, Titan Fitness.

Immediately Marty takes the magazine from the rack and looks at the cover. It features a buff lime-green dragon with long flowing grey hair wearing a light purple speedo doing the most muscular pose with a little wink. "Wow, this looks very interesting." he said to himself.

Zen came to his sweetheart with a bag of Apples, Blueberries, Kiwis and bars of soap because he just realised that he ran out of them, well there's only 1 apple left in their home so he might as well get some more. He then said to Marty "Soooooooo, this must be the magazine."

"Keen eye as always Zen." Marty said before giving his wolf boyfriend the magazine so he can take a good look at it. He saw some of the headlines on the cover, stuff like "How to get hard abs in 7 days.", "Interviews with a bodybuilding legend from the 80s" and "Top 5 bodybuilding techniques for newcomers". He was very intrigued with what this book has to offer and can remember a similar magazine that he used to buy right after he moved back into the city, a monthly fitness and health magazine called Active Motion. "Huh, this is kinda like the fitness magazine I used to buy. This must be like a new take on it."

Marty then said to him "You're right. It's looks like it could be a nice read."

"I agree sweetie, it does look very fascinating. So let's buy this one and have a look at it when we are in the Gift From the Sea. Yeah it's not like our other dates but I think we can mix it up once in a while" Zen said to Marty, and he agrees by saying "Sure I don't mind. Taking a look at this with you will be just as nice."

With the two of them decided to buy This magazine and they walked to the counter. A women who works at this store was a female lavender bird who loves to serve and make everyone's shopping experience a great and stress-free one with her upbeat personality and extremely friendly attitude that can make anyone feel good. If there's a costumer who couldn't find something they want, she's always there to help them find it. She saw Marty and Zen behind the counter and said to them "Hello there Marty and Zen, it's always a delight to see you two."

"Hey Cristina. Hope things have been going well for you and your husband." Zen said to Cristina.

She felt happy when she heard these lovely words from Zen, they always enjoy a nice chat between each other. "It is going well between us, Thank you."

"You're welcome." Zen said to her.

Marty then said "We are just here to get some fruits, soaps for the house and this new Fitness Magazine called Titan Fitness."

"Oh yeah Titan Fitness, they just started publication six mouths ago." Cristina said to Marty is joy in her eyes.

"I was right. This is a new magazine like a new version of Active Motion." Zen said, as his puts the bag on the counter for Cristina to scan.

"That's right. I used to love reading them." She said to the muscular green wolf as she grabs the scan gun and scans the magazine and the other items. "I think you'll enjoy this magazine just as much."

After she finishes scanning the items the total cost for the things Marty and Zen wanted to get here comes to $11.99. The lovable blue quail grabs his regular bag that he carries with him around his beefy right arm and opens the front pocket and gets his wallet to pay. Cristina brings the card scanner to him and he taps his card onto it and completes the transaction.

"Thanks you two, I hope to see you again soon." Cristina said before wishing them a nice and wonderful evening, which see always say to those two after every trip to the Quickmart. Marty puts his wallet back in his bag then grabs the shopping bag with his and Zen's purchases and he said "Likewise. Take care." and waves goodbye to her and he and Zen exits the Convenient store as the bird cashier shouted out "I will, bye for now." The green wolf then asked Marty "Now that that's taking care of, shall we resume our walk to the Gift from the Sea?" the quail then puts the Titan Fitness magazine from the shopping bag into his regular bag and answered his boyfriend's question by saying "I'd be very happy to, honey." they link each other's hands and continues their journey to the Gift from the Sea.

Meanwhile back at the Powerhouse, Clement was on the Pull-Up Machine trying his very best to pull himself up but his upper body strength wasn't strong enough to lift himself up. His body was covered in his own sweat and could feel a large strain on his arms. Joey, Nathan and Sethrophe was watching him try his best and even Sethrophe was cheering him on "Go on Clement, I believe in you. You can do it."

But his words wasn't enough for Clement to do a single pull-up, the pressure was too much for him to the point that the cheeks on his face became about as puffed-up as a inflated balloon, so much so that accidently lets go and falls on his back on the cold, hard ground and lets out a slight scream of anguish. Joey walked towards the lizard lying on the ground and reached his hand to Clement and helps him up. "Look Clement, I know you're trying and that's fine. But pull-ups is one of the more trickiest exercises out there for beginners and I don't want you to get hurt and do the hard stuff first."

"Oh, sorry about that. I figured I'd try it out first because it can improve my upper body." Clement said while he rubs his right arm looking a little embraced.

"I know you are, and i'm happy that you are trying your best. But I don't think Pull-Ups isn't ideal for you at this moment. If you are doing to do this right, you have to do something that is easy and perfect for beginners." Joey's finger then roams around the gym as he looks for something for Clement to do exercises without getting him injured by complete accident. Just then his eyes are pointed to a set of treadmills lined up next to the large window and his mouth opened wide as he found an easy beginner friendly workout for the lizard and then points his finger at the treadmills "I got it, see those treadmills over there." Clement sees the treadmills and said "Yeah I see it. You want me to go on the treadmill and work on my legs."

"That's right. treadmills are great for building strength for your legs and builds stamina in your body. They are perfect for you dude." Joey said. And Clement looked at the treadmills with his own eyes and slowly makes his way to one of them with Joey watching him to make sure he's ok.

Clement got to the treadmill and stand on the belt of it, and just stood there not knowing how to get it started, and then he saw the buttons on the panel and then said "Ok, let's see if I can do this." he then noticed Nathan walking by, seeing how he's doing.

"You know Clement, you remind me of me when I started bodybuilding and getting fit. We both tried to do the harder stuff without doing the easy stuff first." Nathan said kindly as he rests his right arm on handrail.

"Yeah, my bad. I'm pretty much still new to all this, but i'm thankful that you, Joey and Sethrophe are helping me out with this working out thing." Clement said to Nathan.

Nathan smiles when he hears that, He can tell that Clement is doing the best he possibly can and is making an effort to learn the ins and out of working out. "No problem, we are all happy to help you out because we can see in your eyes that you want to become as strong as us, not just physically but emotionally. We all want you to be happy.

Clement takes the Golden Retriever's words to heart and felt a little sad, and sighed the biggest sigh he had done today. "What's wrong?" Nathan asked as Joey and Sethrophe come to his side, making sure the lizard is ok. "I was never strong enough to make friends. Every time I tried, I just ran away and hide somewhere away from them. It wasn't until today that I've met all of you that made me fell like for the first time in my life that I don't want to run and hide." then the corners of his mouth started going up as he understands that he didn't have the courage back then, and while he doesn't have a ton he's at least giving it a go and try his best "With you guys helping me out, i'm not going to give up with my goal, i'm going to workout and gain courage." and turned around and sees Joey and Sethrophe standing next to Nathan, Joey with his arms crossed and smiling and Sethrophe being proud of Clement, but then the lizard blushes again and said "I'm gonna start working on my leg muscles if that's ok with you."

"That's fine Clement. It's great to motivate yourself." Joey said before Clement turns around and do some squats to prepare his leg muscles for the workout, then the Penguin puts his hand slightly up and then said to Clement "Allow me to show you how these things work." Clement was paying close attention with his eyes pointing at the beefy penguin, as he grabs the safety whist strap.

"This is the whist harness that the treadmills at the Powerhouse all have. They have a hook and loop design making it easy for anybody to put their arms and is very adjustable to fit anyone of any size. Let me put it on for you." Clement brings his arm up to Joey and he puts the Hook and Loop whist strap onto his arm and tightens it by looping it around twice so that it stays on his arm. "So this strap prevents me from accidently falling off the treadmill?" Clement asked Joey.

"That's correct. The strap is attached to a cord that is part of the treadmill. These make sure you stay on the treadmill at all times." Joey explains to the lizard, who was thankful that the he learned about this. he was learning so much thanks to the penguin who is enjoying teaching him about working out the right way.

Joey puts his large beefy right hand on the console of the treadmill and explains to Clement "Now it's important that you have the right speed for you. Nothing too fast and nothing too slow, a perfect balance for beginners." Joey puts his finger on the speed button and increase the speed and velocity of the treadmill at 3 Mph. "Once you got the hand of it, you can increase the speed slightly for more of a challenge, but don't make it too fast or you'll and up hurting yourself. I just don't want you to slip and hurt yourself because the treadmill was too fast." Clement completely agrees with him and nods.

Joey moved his hand to the on switch and touched it with his thumb and the finger next to it, after that his eyes moved to Clement and said to him "Ok Clement, i'm gonna turn this on. Remember to not make this too fast and also if you are need me, Nathan or Sethrophe just shout our names and we'll come here to help you out."

Then with a nice thumbs up from Clement, Joey turns on the treadmill and then Clement starts to move his legs and then ran with all his might as the running belt starts moving backwards. Sethrophe notices the lizard's skill to keep up with the speed of the belt as it moves quickly. Both of the lizard's legs was gracefully moving from the front to the back with amazing swiftness like a ninja or a cheetah, even when his head start to become all sweaty he doesn't want to stop. It was a workout that had him feeling like he's training for an Olympic race or a marathon even though it isn't.

Joey and Nathan both watched Clement as he run and work his leg muscles. They were incredibly proud that the two of them found a type of workout that he can enjoy and can be engaged to like a good book. Nathan smiled at Joey "I'm glad I've met someone like him and Sethrophe today. They are both quite friendly in their own unique way." he then said to his beefy penguin buddy.

"Yeah, I can agree with that Nathan. These two are pretty cool, and i'm proud to have met them." Joey said, then both him and Nathan brings their arms to each other and do a little high five and have a small chuckle. "Life sure is amazing. I'm proud to help others and keep this body in tiptop shape." then he flexes his right bicep hard as it inflates like a balloon as a little thanks for Nathan for helping Clement workout, and Sethrophe looked at Joey's amazing arm and then said to him "Wow, you're biceps are incredible! I'm quite impressed with how strong your body is, you're quite a marvellous earth bodybuilder Joey." Joey was very proud to hear that, given he was still pumping iron these days and never skipping a beat. "Thanks Sethrophe. You know, you're muscles are quite amazing too." and Sethrophe blushes from the penguins praise towards him as he puts his hands on his cheeks and said "Oh, you're too kind my beefy earth-bounded Penguin friend and his Yellow furred Doggy friend."

Joey and Nathan were both felt a little modest and delighted by Sethrophe's words, Nathan especially because he is known to be quite a friendly dog to the people he loves the most like a friendly neighbour next door who is always a treat to talk to. Just then Joey heard a strange sound in the gym, Nathan and Sethrophe also hear it with there own ears but they didn't see a single person how was doing it.

"That's weird, I though I heard someone flapping their wings." Joey said felling a bit puzzled about this whole thing. Suddenly the three of them heard a certain cool and laid back voice coming from the celling "That little someone is me bruh." Then they moved there heads up to the celling and see a purple bat hanging there and waves one of it's wings. Nathan says to himself "That bat just said bruh, so that means that.." and paused for a moment when he recognized the bat. He points his finger at the bat and shouted "Your Drake! The bat I've met a while back."

"Righteous! How nice of you to remember me bro, It has certainly been a while since I last saw you." Drake greeted Nathan. Joey didn't recognized him at first, but then remembered the time Nathan told him all about the day he met the cool bat. Joey then points up to the bat and asked Nathan "Is that the bat you met that day?"

"Yep, that's the one." he then said to Joey who was in total bewilderment of seeing Drake for the first time in his life in his small bat form. Drake lets out a small snicker and then said to Joey "Well Joey, allow me to show you my real form bruh. It will blow your mind."

Drake then swoops down from the celling, then while he's in mid air and with a POOF the once small bat turned himself into his regular form with a well-built body full of pure muscle, large bat wings perfectly implanted in his beefy back and is wearing a Gray tank top, a black denim jeans and black and white sports shows. He lands on the ground with his right hand on the ground while bending forward. As he brings his back up his eyes spotted Nathan, Joey and Sethrophe all had their jaws dropped when they saw Drake's transformation act.

"Nathan, it's totally awesome to see you dude. So, who's it hanging bruh." He asked straight away, which caught Nathan by surprised. He had a lot of things happened to him since the last time they met, not just to him, but to his friends, his own step-brother and GMX Market. It was a lot for him to tell him and didn't know where to start first but Joey puts his left hand on his hard as steel hips having a lot of stuff to say as well, mainly stuff about Drake and his own personal life. So both Nathan and Joey's eyes move to the focus of each other and then smiled. They were going to talk with Drake together at once so that Nathan can tell him about the past couple of weeks and Joey can learn about Drake "Well we both have a lot of stuff to tell you, so do you mind if me and Nathan both be apart of this conversation together."

"Sure thing bruh. You know what they say in life, the more the merrier." Drake said as he floats in the air on his back with his arms behind his head like he's relaxing on an invisible sofa. Sethrophe then said to Joey and Nathan "I'll keep a close eye on Clement for you Joey. Just to make sure his workout goes as smooth as butter."

"That was very nice of you Sethrophe, Thank you." Nathan said to the King Cobra and gets a big grin on his face which brought a smile on Sethrophe's face. He's starting to like Nathan for how he's able to make some amazing friends from just his lovable personality, he have known many, many people across the galaxy and in different universes that are very friendly and have stuff that makes them unique from one another. So when he met Joey and Nathan, as well as Clement, Marty and Zen and found them to be some of the nicest he had ever met, it had made his trip to earth worth it, so he gave Nathan and Joey both a nice little wink to him and said "Well I just like to help you guys out. Anyways, enjoy your chit-chat with Drake." and head towards Clement still running on the treadmill, and then Joey puts his hands together in front of his mouth and moves them down in a 90 degrees angle and said "Do you mind if we have this chat at the Juice Bar?"

Meanwhile, Marty and Zen arrived at the Gift From the Sea. Marty's eyes are drawn to how the restaurant looks, and it was an incredibly eye catching design. The building was a two-level structure with thick clear glass on all sides of the café, even the roof of the building which is very strong and can't be smashed. It's also build right close to the beach area, so the people eating there will get a lovely view of the crisp and beautiful sea. A perfect sight to accompany some delicious seafood rich with flavour. And the top of the building is a large neon sign that reads "The Gift From the Sea: Mouth Watering Seafood and amazing juices."

"So this is the Gift from the Sea. I gotta say Zen i'm quite liking the whole look of this place, and the view from the top floor when we eat here sounds beautiful." Marty says while being extremely impressed by how the whole building looks.

"I bet it is. Eating seafood while looking at the sea in the distance with you is a perfect date with you." Zen says. Then he puts both his hands on Marty's big and mighty arms as he puts the right side of his cheek onto the quail's cheek while he smiles. "I couldn't agree more honey. Anything with you is a treat for the both of us." Said Marty as his boyfriend is being silly, a side of him that he is proudly showing to his sweetheart to his delight.

Both of them turned their heads to each other and gave each other a quick kiss on the mouth before the two of them stopped their little romantic moment. Marty then opens the door and says "After you." And Zen goes inside the restaurant followed by Marty coming in after him.

When they both entered the place, they see a large bar in front of them. It was full of drinks, mints and a big shark made out of papier-mâché and painted in light blue, and standing behind the counter was a duo of falcons, a blue one serving customers with drinks and showing people their tables in the restaurant and a red one making new types of smoothie flavours, cocktails and other types of drinks.

The two beefy lovebirds caught the blue falcons eyes as they arrived at the counter holding each others hands, he can tell that these two are very much intertwined with each other by their own love. "Hello and welcome to the Gift from the Sea, a seafood Experience unlike any other. My name is Dylan and i'll be the one serving you today." he said to the two while the red falcon is making a cocktail behind him.

"Glad to meet you. My name is Zen and this handsome hunk of a quail is my husband, the wonderful Marty Francine." Zen said to Dylan, who was in awe at their muscles and the fact that these two are married.

"I'm happy for you. You know, i'm kinda gay myself. It's a little embarrassing admitting it to random people because i'm a little worried that I might get made fun off." Dylan admits to the two.

"We perfectly understand Dylan. Before I have met Zen, I felt a little stressed about being gay, so much so that I was kinda scared to admit it to my boss Leo or anyone for that matter, but thankfully he understanded what it's like to be gay." Marty said as he felt like Dylan is going through a similar situation to him. He knows what it's like to come out as gay to your friends, it can be a little scary at first but after you reveal to them, they will understand. "It's ok to be gay. It doesn't change who you are inside, everybody can be who they want to be and love whoever they care about the most. I can remember the day that I found out that I was gay."

Seven years ago, before Marty have met Zen for the first time. Marty was at work at Leo Industries sitting on his desk as he was filling the papers for construction on some new houses near the beach area. Marty wasn't as buff back then as he was now, but he was still a fit and active Quail with the same heart of gold he has nowadays. "Hmm, these houses are a perfect addition to this city. I can imagine people living there waking up and opening the curtains and just seeing the lust sea to start off their days." He said as he looked at the rough draft on the new houses.

The phone at his desk starts ringing loudly as Marty puts them next to his computer, the sounds of the call phone can be heard all across the office like an a roar of a lion. After he sat down on his office chair Marty picks up the phone and said "Hi this is Leo Industries. We built this city on our power and creativity. How are you doing today?" in a calm and collected way.

"I'm doing good. I'm just calling because I want some advice. I know this is a construction company, but i needed someone how can help me out with my problem." The caller said. Marty thought it was weird that this person called him who was an employee at a company who make buildings for the city that he lives in about what he was going through, but in a way, he can understand if the guy didn't know who to call and just phoned whoever he can find. So even though this is not a call related to his job, he wants to help this guy out any way he can.

"It's alright, but this is a construction company and phone calls are for ones that are related to restoration. But i'll let it slide just this once, only because i want to help you out." Marty said to the caller who was a man.

The guy takes a deep breath as Marty waits to hear what kind of problem he was going through and after he breaths out he then explains to Marty "Ok so. I worked at a local Comic shop just several blocks down where I live, and I enjoyed my time working there. Two weeks ago I arrived there and saw the boss of the store introducing him to me and was very excited to get started. His name is Maximillian and was a gecko from New York city and was a hard working man who loves comics and video games. We shook hands and we were both blushing like we immediately had feelings for each other right then and there."

After the guy finished explaining what he was going through, Marty was a little unsure on what advice to say to him at this moment, but was doing his best to think of something to say to this guy. His mind was like a labyrinth of different answers to a riddle of romance and love with each answer leading to a different outcome. As he tries to think of something to say, he asked him "Please can you tell me your name?" He was trying to by himself a little bit of time as he try to think of any type of advice to give to the caller.

"Sure thing, I'm Harry, a hard working Condor who has been sexually gay for pretty much the entirety of my life. I've moved to this city about a year ago and have been waiting for the right guy for me since the day I've moved here" he explained to Marty as he tries to find something to say to the Condor. After Harry finished telling him who he is, Marty gasped with both sides of his mouth on his beak turned up as he found the perfect advice to say to the gay Condor.

"Well Harry, here's what I came up with." Harry puts the phone extremely close to his ear so he can hear the quail's advice better. "The next time you and Max see each other in the comic shop, try asking him out to the movies or a nice work in the park after work."

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Harry asked.

Marty smiled as he sits back on his office chair and said to him "Don't worry about it. Trust me it'll all work out in the end."

"I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the help, i hope it goes well for me and doesn't end in disaster." Harry fluttered his wings vigorously and let out a quiet but shrill screech, he was so full of excited of asking out Maximillian that he might explode like a balloon inflated with joy.

Marty smiles when he heard the Condor be full of excitement and then says "No problem. I got to go, i have some work to do, so take care and good luck." and after Harry says "Ok, i will. Bye bro." he hangs up and happily go on his computer to check out some concepts for a bookstore in the city next to a local Art shop right close to where he lived at that point of his life, and he was going to look at each of the concept drawings to see which design of the bookshop to be built. Marty cracks his fingers before putting them on his keyboard and says "Alright Marty Francine, let's see what design gets to be made."

Suddenly right before he could look at any of the drawings, a tall and very muscular bull walked to Marty's office space. The bull whose name is Bradley is one of the biggest guys in the building at 8.2 FT, tailer than the boss of Leo Industries, Leonard Skyes. Most of all he's got muscles twice as huge as Leo's with his biceps being almost wider than Marty's head. The office suit he's wearing looked like it was on the verge of being ripped in little strips just by flexing.

"Well well well, if it's isn't Marty the employee of the month. I can see that Leo is playing favourites lately, can't say i'm surprised considering you are the most outstanding employee here." Bradley said in a booming voice that echoed throughout the 7th floor and into the hallway. Marty moved his eyes from the PC to the giant bull grinning a wide grin, and the corners of his mouth dropped down and his eyes became half shut, Looking rather unenthused by the presence by this big, loud and very swole bull.

"Well yeah, I've been a major asset to Leo Industries since the day i started working here. Just doing the best job I can here, which is more than I can say about you who just show off your big muscles to the staff and spend most of your time here just telling everybody that your the greatest member of this company to the annoyance of the people here." Marty explained.

A cocky smile beings to develop on Bradley's face as the hard working quail finished saying what was on his mind. The giant bull had a little idea in his head, something that Marty couldn't predict the guy would do. He then said to Marty "Well I can't help it when I am so strong and powerful, not to mention handsome. But anyways Marty, I know you are such a nice and honest member of this company while i'm just the titanic party animal who have worked very hard to make this body a work of art, compared to me, you're just a small fish in a sea of beefiness." He pats his pecs, showing their density and sturdiness, but even when he's trying his hardest to get Marty to feel a little intimidated by the bull's amazing bragging and even greater muscles, the quail didn't care for him or his muscles, in fact he was even more disinterested in him.

Marty lets out a sigh and then said "Look Bradley, i know you want to make me feel weak and small compared to you, but you are just not that cool. You are strong, but you annoy everyone here with your attitude and loud music. Sorry to say this but it's the truth." The bull was taken back by the quail's unimpressed feelings about him, his once cocky smile was immediately gone as his gritted his teeth with anger when his plan to get Marty to like him has blew up in his face like a bomb.
Wanting to know why he was turned down Bradley asked angrily "Why don't you like my muscles? I pumped everyday to get this body."

Marty put his hand on his head and lets out another sigh and then explains to the titanic bull "Yes i ammit your muscles are very amazing, but sometimes it's not whats on the outside that counts, but the inside. And i'm sorry to say this, but you are not kind-hearted, in fact you're very egotistical and only cares about showing off to everyone.. I'm sorry to disappoint you like this but i'm just being honest with you."

Bradley couldn't believe what he had heard, he was turned down because Marty just didn't think he was all that nice and only loves to flexes his muscles and be a loud nuisance that more often than not the workers at Leo Industries can't stand to be around. His teeth gritted harder and let out a slow, intimidating growl followed by veins in his hulking body popping out of his fur as they slightly grow as the power built up inside him. Marty took one look at this angry bull and lets out a little gasp as his heart started beating fast from the shock and horror of this situation.

The bull flexes both his biceps as Marty watches without anyway to get away from this monstrous mountain of muscle and rage. Bradley then puts both his hands of his shirt and rips it off him without breaking a sweat showing abs as hard as titanium and then the corners of his mouth went upwards and formed an evil grin. "Oh well, i can be your boyfriend. I guess i'll just have to..." before he can finish saying his evil plan he can feel his a tingling feeling when a large green scaly hand touched his large shoulder blades. He then turns around and sees Leonard Skyes wearing his usual business suit looking utterly unimpressed by the beefy bull's actions.

"Bradley, you need to learn to stop bugging people, especially Marty." Leo said to Bradley with his gigantic arms crossed "You've heard him say he's isn't interested in your antics and I can understand, you have been more of a annoyance to everyone here and disturbed the hard work my employees are doing everyday."

The bull was now face to face with the main boss of Leo Industries being completely done with the stuff he had done since coming to this company, he can already tell that his days working here was pretty much over. So desperate to save his job he tries to think of a plan to get him out of this situation. While this is happening, Marty gets up from his office chair and see if he can get out of his office space and away from the titanic bull. However Bradley is so huge that the way out is pretty much blocked so the quail is unable to escape that way. "Man I got to find a way to make Bradley leave." he thought to himself.

Just then, Bradley came up with an idea in his head that he thinks maybe get him out of this situation, a last ditch effort to save his job. He coughs to clear his throat which made Leo raise an eyebrow as he said quietly and Sarcastically "Oh this should be good".

"Oh Leo, it's not like that at all. I was just being like a party animal of this company that just wants to everyone to support my awesome lifestyle, whenever it's Working out, partying and being so charismatic that I want to bring the good vibes here." He lied while trying to sound like he's telling the truth, all the while Leo just stands there not believing in what he says and having more reasons why he should fire the bull.

Marty tries his very best to think of something to make this bull leave, but he couldn't come up with anything helpful. "Dang it, I've got nothing. But I'm not giving up trying." he quietly said to himself as he rest his back on the wall "I'll get out of this, I've gotten out of worst situations in my life, let alone an immovable bull."

Meanwhile Leo continued to be assaulted by Bradley's never-ending barrage of lies that he had to listen to, as the bull kept going on about how awesome he is and how much of a hunk he is Leo's continues to lose patience with having to hear all this malarkey on display. "So anyways, I just felt like asking Marty for some help with sorting papers out, because he is a hard-working man that loves to work here everyday to impress you." He told Leo who by this point just wants him to leave the company as soon as possible.

Leo brought his hand up showing the front of it that made the bull stop talking so he can finally let his words out without a never ending torrent of lies coming at him in a rapid pact. With the sweet sound of silence between the two of them the cobra says to the bull "Look Bradley, Your words are about aren't doing a good job convincing me not to fire you. You just mess up to many times and cause nothing by annoyance the whole time, so I have no choice but to fire you" then he cross his arms with a disappointed look on his face.

With a heavy sigh from his mouth, Bradley put his arms high in the air as he angerly said "Fine! I'm fired, big deal. That doesn't matter to me at all, you wanna know why Leonard?" His head moved very close to Leo's face which caught him by surprise "Because you're a demented narcissist." his said.

"Nope, it's because i'm going to find a nicer and better paying job. One where my talents won't go to waste, but i digress. I best be leaving now." His legs starts to slowly move as his makes his way to the door, just as he was leaving Marty saw the exit from his office space is no longer blocked by the giant musclebound blockade.

Leo turns his head towards the quail who was very thankful that his office space isn't blocked by a megaton mountain of muscles and overwhelming narcissism. "Marty, i'm glad your alright." he said when his quail employee when up to him being thankful he's safe and sound away from the bull. Marty grinned with his hands on his hips and said to his boss "Thanks Leo, I thought that guy wouldn't leave me alone." Just then, they both heard a fearsome roar erupted from Bradley tearing down the door from it's hinges with his hulking muscles, the roar was so loud that it could be heard throughout the entire building from the 12th floor all of them were on all the way to the ground floor.

Bradley takes one last look at Marty and Leo before smirking, then he leaves the room by saying "Catch you two later someday." after he threw the broken door he had in his hand down to the ground, and as he walked off he shouted "You're gonna a new door Mr. Skyes."

As soon as he leaves Leo said "I'm glad he's not working for us, I can speak for all of us when I say that man was the absolute worst. Marty, that guy won't be bothering you anymore buddy." as he walked up to the door laying on the floor. He couldn't believe that this all happened today, he knew that Marty is gay and had known about this since the two first met when Marty's first day on the job. He didn't what someone like Bradley to be the Quail's boyfriend just as much as he do and is supportive of his sexuality because deep down he wants Marty to feel calm and happy.

Leo squatted down and grabbed the top part of the door with both his hands, just at that moment he saw two blue hands holding the top part which belonged to Marty. "Mind if I give you a helping hand?" he asked his cobra boss.

"Of course, thanks Marty" Leo said to Marty who felt like he should help his boss after the events that had transpired a couple of seconds ago "But it's fine, the door isn't that heavy so I can manage this." The cobra moves his hands on both ends of the door and in less time than the quail could imagine stands up while holding the door held sideways. He rotates it in a ninety degree angle and places to door next to an office space right close to the spot where the door should have been.

"There, all I need is a repairman to fix this door and it'll look as good as new." He said after he took a couple steps backwards, with Marty resting his arm on the shoulders of his boss who was glad nothing else was damaged by Bradley and he taps the quail's hand from that arm which he moved it away from the cobra.

It was then, Marty said to Leo "Yep it sure will be. Anyway Leo, I've have something to say to you." the cobra was a little surprised to hear this, but that surprised turned into curiosity as he rubs his chin with his mighty hand "Go on, i'm listening."

Marty slowly breaths in and held it for a couple of seconds as Leo waited to hear whatever is in Marty's mind. After he breaths out he clapped his hands together and said to Leo "Ok, here is the truth. I'm gay and have been gay for all my life. I wanted to tell you this for such a long time but I was a little worried about what would have happened if I did."

Upon hearing the reveal of the quail's sexuality, Leo's mouth formed a smile but not a crooked snake-like smile but the kind that tells that he was proud of him for coming out without saying a single word from his mouth.

He goes up to Marty and he puts both of his large meaty hands on the quail's shoulders that are slightly smaller than the cobra's colossal shoulder blades then he said to him "Marty, it's ok to be who you are and love whoever you like. The world is a big place, and I have no doubt that you will find your sweetheart someday" The quail smiled back at his boss "I'm proud of you for telling me this. And as someone who is openly gay too, I'll support you all the way from the bottom of my heart."

"Thank you Leo!" Marty yelled out enthusiastically before comes at him with a big friendly hug with caught the cobra businessman off-guard but was glad that the quail told him that he was gay. Even though Leo is an eccentric millionaire who runs one of the cities most famous businesses he values Marty not just his best employee but as someone to talk to and tell him whatever he wants to tell him, deep down he wants the quail to be happy no matter what happens.

Back in the present after Marty told Dylan his whole story from way back when, the blue falcon bartender smiled and rested both of his arms on the desk with his hands held together "Wow, that was an amazing story. I've heard Leonard Skyes can be a nice and helpful person if he wants to be, but he seems to care about you." he told Marty.

The quail was flattered by Dylan's response to his story so much so that his proudly brushed his pompadour-like plume on the top of his head with his green wolf boyfriend wrapping his arms around the large quail's beefy body and the Bartender looking at his laptop-like machine next to the credit card scanner to see if there is any available tables for the two handsome hunky boyfriends. After the quail finished stroking his large plume he then said. "Totally, he helps me out just as much as i help him out with things. I'm the hard working buff bodyguard/awesome boyfriend to Zen who helps out that classy bodybuilding businessman with muscles that are built like a marble statue from a museum, and he helps me out with stuff that is happening in my life. I'm thankful for all of his help that he has giving me for several years working for him which i'm very grateful for."

Dylan nods up and down with a charming smile on his face before Marty gives Zen a nice little kiss on his cheek, but then a beeping noise was heard coming from the machine that catches the attention of the bartender. He turned the machine so that it is facing him and saw that there are a table for two now unoccupied and now available for the kind-hearted and love structed duo. "Well you two will be pleased to hear that there is now a table for the both of you, So if you please follow me i'll show you where it is."
He said to them.

"We don't mind at all." Zen said happily with his arms still wrapped around Marty's meaty shoulder blades.

"Splendid, I'll just grab your menus" the Blue Falcon grabs four menus (two drinks menus and two dinner menus) from the menu holder hanging on the left side of the counter desk and opened the little door that goes up to the torso happily humming to himself as he leaves his bar so he can serve his two beefy customers "Now then, please come with me." And as the falcon walked both of the newlywed and kind-hearts beefcakes followed him as they make their way to the table with Zen thinking to himself "Both me and my husband are enjoying this so far and we haven't had our meals yet, but still anything with Marty is a treat for the both of us."

The three of them made their way up the giant stairs which are made from white-coloured marble with Marty taking in the atmosphere of the Gift from the Sea, when the three of them made it to the second floor both the quail and Zen saw a giant custom made mini-pond that was about half the size of a swimming pool with a statue of a merman sitting on a big rock column in front of a wall with water cascading from a long shower-like machine covered with multiple fake-rocks made from resin all around it giving it a kinda waterfall like effect to it. Upon seeing it Marty moved slowly with Dylan and Zen following the enthusiastic quail as he takes a closer look at it, and he felt like this was unlike any custom made mini-pond he had ever seen. The sound of the water coming down was closed to the sounds of the waves crashing the rocks in the ocean which was very relaxing and satisfying to listen to which was one of the quail's favourites sounds for being so calming to him. But those sounds was the icing on the cake for him when he saw the merman statue which is a amazingly detailed structure of a buff strong shark man from the sea with long flowing hair, muscles with pecs as strong as rock like the statue, abs that are harder than steel, a big scar on his cheek, a long tail and him holding a trident in his left hand.

Zen and Dylan came to the fascinated quail as he was staring at the statue thinking that he knew this merman from somewhere but wasn't quite sure if he remembered. he puts his left hand on his plume which he then strokes it very slowly as he said curiously "Where have I seen this guy before?"

It was just then at the moment when his beak opened as wide as it can go, he remembered where he saw the shark before. The turned around to face his boyfriend and the blue falcon as he points at the statue with his thumb from his right hand while putting his other hand on his amazingly crafted hips and said "I remember this shark merman, he was a mythical warrior from folk tales that is known far and wide in the ocean. Legend says he's able to guide sea-fairing folks to the right direction and save them from danger."

"Yeah I remember hearing about it once in the past from a fellow botanist that I knew back in the day before I've met you. He travelled across the sea to find exotic flowers and plants from around the world on his boat." Zen said.

Dylan puts his left hand on Marty's big shoulder blades and asked to the wolf "Oh, what happened to him?"

"Well he's currently living on a remote island in the amazon to study nature with an explorer he met one day while on one of his rare flower hunts." Zen explained to both Dylan and Marty with a calm look on his face. The blue falcon felt proud that a person that Zen knew in his past is doing amazing for himself, so he then crosses his arms and brought his left foot behind his right knee all with a smile embedded in his beak and his eyes half opened. "Well i hope he has a wonderful life over there just like you and Marty are having, because he seems like a kind and adventurous guy like you." he said to the kind-hearted green wolf.

"He is, and i'll be sure to tell him you said that when i meet him again." Zen happily said to the kind falcon and gave him a friendly wink with a wonderful grin which his friends loved to see, especially Marty and his step-brother Nathan. Whenever the green musclebound botanist wolf grins it's a sign that everything is going to be great for him and everyone around him.

"That's so kind of you. Thanks Zen" Dylan said to him. the wolf and quail walked back to the stairs to resume their walk to the top floor which was short because there's only ten steps left until they arrived at the top. There was a smaller bar than the bar from the first floor and tables and chairs next to the window with a clear view of the ocean.

The blue Falcon bartender showed the two beefcakes to the table in the middle of a row of five and on it was a large pot with seven coloured roses each representing the colours of the rainbow. "Here you go, a lovely table for the both of you." Dylan said happily as he moved his right arm down to his abdomen and his left arm spread out on the side in a bowing gesture near the table.

Marty sits on the right chair and Zen sat across him as he looked out from the window, looking at the beautiful sea before moving his head and eyes towards his boyfriend with his hands holding each other near his chin with his elbows on the table looking at the quail who said to him "Well Zen, I say you are just as beautiful as the sea." and gave his wolf husband a nice wink.

Zen took notice to his boyfriend's charming and playful flirting which he always enjoy whenever he does it to him "Oh Marty, you're such a charming quail." he responded.

Then the Blue falcon gave each of them their menus and asked them "May I get you a lovely drink. It's on the house." so both Marty and Zen take a look at the menu which shows all of the options like starters, Main courses, Desserts, Sides and a large selections of mouth-watering drinks to choose from in the Gift from the Sea, but the quail didn't know what to have because they all looked so good and so delicious "So many options, all of them look so tasty." he thought to himself. Meanwhile the wolf looked at each page of the menu like a book, taking his time to look at all of the meals on there.

Then he found something that he had in the past that he remembered being quite nice, Cajun Spiced Lobster with rice and crawfish. It was a dish he had when he came with Marty and Leo on a business trip to Louisiana to construct a house for a loving Gator couple nestled in the Bijous of New Orleans which he was very happy to help out his boyfriend. While on a lunch break both him and the quail went to a local restaurant located at the French Quarter where he had this meal and Marty had a simple Clam Chowder served with some toast. He can recall loving the sweet and spicy taste of it but it was sometime since he had eaten it. "Seeing this dish brought back some very nice memories, so why not have it again." he thought to himself.

On the other side of the table, Marty found two meals that looked very interesting to him. The first one was two jumbo sized Crab Cakes served with a salad made up of sliced Lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onions and olives covered in Thousand Island Dressing. The other one was haddock cooked in a rich and juicy tomato sauce with chunks of aubergine, onions and tomatoes and each fish covered in a blanket of soft mozzarella. "I'm quite a fan of Crab Cakes and I'm very fond on haddock. Man, they are both looking rather tasty." he thought to himself. He puts his finger from his right hand on his beak and lightly scratches it while he ponders on which of the two meals he should have.

After giving it some thought, he said to Dylan "Ok, i'll have the haddock in tomato sauce."

The Blue falcon smiled upon hearing the quail's decision as he writes down both of their meals on his mini notepad. "Splendid, and what drinks will you be having today?" he asked.

"We'll each have a jug of a strawberry and apple blended mocktail with ice please." Zen said.

"Gladly. Now if you excuse me, i'm going to get your drinks and give this order to our amazingly talented chefs that put there heart and soul into crafting these mouth watering masterpieces. Be right back." said the Blue Falcon as he waves to the two lovers with his smile still on his face before walking down the stairs. Then both Marty looked at his boyfriend as he hold his hands together as he asked him "So, you want to check out that magazine?"

"Sure, I don't mind sweetie. Again anything with you is a treat to the both of us." Zen agreed.

Marty takes the Titan Fitness magazine from his bag and lightly puts it on the table with his boyfriend's eyes looking down at the book. "Ok my hunky sweetheart, let's see what this magazine has to offer." the quail said before flipping the first page of the magazine with a two-page spread of an ad for a shower gel called Aromatic Spice with a buff eagle holding a bottle of it in his right hand and grinning at the camera with the tagline "A top of the line shower gel that feels good on furs and scales." After smiling upon seeing the ad he turn over the page to the contents page that lists many of the articles in the magazine. They include Interview with a gymnast from the windy city, the best exercises to kickstart your day, unsung bodybuilding heroes among other topics that was quite interesting to the quail and his boyfriend, including the stuff that was advertised on the front page.

Zen lets out a little whistle when he saw the kind of things that the magazine have to offer, he was quite impressed with the variety of content inside it "Wow, it really is like a new and updated version of Active Motion." he said to his boyfriend.

"Yeah, it does look like it. Very fascinating stuff indeed." Marty said before he turn over to the next page and he and his sweetheart saw the first article on a bodybuilder turned wrestling megastar Ralph "The Gun show" Jackson doing a most muscular pose with his mouth wide open like he's bellowing an almighty roar while wearing his wrestling trunks.
The Quail read out the guys bio to Zen "Ralph was a titanic and powerful dragon well known through out his home town of Briarwood for his massive biceps, long flowing black hair and his never say die attitude. Competing in local bodybuilding contest in his area, he was something of a town hero to the people watching and that statement was true when he switched from flexing his beefy body on stage to grappling in the world of wrestling where he was a massive heroic face that fought with all his heart. Ralph's life is a story about never giving up and giving it your all to succeed no matter what obstacles is in his way."

"I've heard of Ralph before when me and Nathan watched a bodybuilding contest on a DVD I bought online. He was a master of the side chest pose which the crowd always got pumped seeing, even me and Nathan saw him as a charismatic and kind man who resonates with so many people." Zen said feeling very nostalgic when he saw this guy. He had tons of great memories watching the Giant Dragon beefcake when he came back from his cabin high in the mountains. Whenever a bodybuilding show was broadcasted on tv, the two of them sit on their couch with a bowl of sugar-free popcorn and two cups of water between the two as they watched the show where the dragon flexed gracefully like he was performing a kind of elegant dance of bulging biceps and bouncing pecs, all the while both him and his step-brother cheered the dragon on from their own home. When he bought that very DVD which was a Special Show called "Herculean Heroes of Bodybuilding." that was 1 hours of muscle flexing mastery from the world's greatest bodybuilders and was loads of fun for those two, seeing all the amazing poses that these beefcakes can do was a sight to behold.

"Wow, that's a sweet thing that the two of you did together." Marty said.

"Thank you Marty, that really mean a ton to me. And hey I still have it if you want to watch it with me." Zen replied to his buff and charming quail boyfriend as he puts his right forearm on the table and his left arm on his hips looking about as chilled and cool as a secret agent from a spy movie that always knows who to charm Marty with his set of skills in love, which the quail was a big fan of.

Marty felling a little smitten by his boyfriend's attractive flirting but already knew what to say about his boyfriend's request told Zen "Yeah, it would be an honour babe." finishing it with a nice little Francine branded wink which the wolf always enjoy seeing whenever he does it to him.

Just then Dylan arrived back with a large circular tray with two drinking glasses, a jug of the mocktail and the forks, knifes and spoons all ready for their main meal which he then places them one at a time onto the table after Marty puts the magazine right next to himself and happily said "Ok guys the food will be about 20 minutes to prepare but don't worry, it will be very much a treat for your taste buds."

"We don't mind waiting, it gives us some time to chat and take in the scenery." Marty said to the blue falcon who smiled proudly as he holds the tray under the armpits of his left arm.

"Ok, see you soon." the blue falcon waves his newfound friends as he walks down the stairs once more with Marty and Zen both waving back at him. Once Dylan was gone the wolf grabbed the jug with his left hand and pours it onto his own glass, then the quail's glass who got a whiff of the aroma of the juice which was nothing short of refreshing. He describes the smell like a symphony of bliss to his beak as he sniffs more and more, so much so that his mouth could only form the sentence "Wow, this juice smells incredible." He then takes a tiny sip from the tip point of his beak, and as the liquid touching his tongue he could feel a mouth-pleasing combination of the juiciness of the strawberries and the beautiful mouthfeel of the blended apples that felt like he was drinking fruity heaven.

"I can tell that you're are enjoying it." Zen said before takes a sip as well, and immediately taken a liken to the flavour of the juice just like his boyfriend for how the two fruits complemented each other "Oh wow I don't blame you, this is an amazing drink."

"I don't know right. The tastes of the two fruits works so well, like two loving kind-hearted muscle guys who is now an awesome married couple." Marty happily explained to the wolf as he put his glass back on the table towards the right.

"Yeah, kinda like to the of us." Zen said.

"That's right my hunky and kind wolf husband"

"Oh how i love it when you say these romantic things." The wolf smiled before Marty puts his hands across the table
as he moved his fingers slightly up and down as a signal for him to hold them with his powerful hands. Zen puts his glass on the side of the table and accepts the quail's invitation to his little idea. He puts his hands onto the quail's and felt a little passionate spark between the two of them like they can read each other like an open book.

"Zen I've known you for a long time, longer than Leo. And ever since I've met you, I felt like you were my knight in shining Armor who helps me out the same way I help you out. And now that we are a married couple our love is stronger than ever before, and i'm happy to be with you everyday of my life." Marty said from his heart to his wolf boyfriend.

"Me too sweetie." Zen said softly before him and Marty moved they faces towards each other slowly. He knew what was coming next and looked forward to this part of this date that these two kiss to show they undying love for each other that is only getting stronger with every passing moment in time. Both of their mouths touched as the wolf kisses his quail husband for a couple of seconds until they stopped and their mouths moved away with Zen left sitting on his side of the table smiling at the handsome heroic quail sitting on the other side "That was nice, I quite enjoyed that kiss."

The quail smiled back at his boyfriend as he said "Yep, a kiss between the two of us is always a lovely treat, anything with you is always guarantied to bring delight to the both of us" and moved his hand towards the magazine on his chair that he then lightly puts it on the table. "Anyways, wanna continue taking a look at this book?" he asked with a cool and collected expression on his face that is topped off by a very Marty-styled grin coming from his beak, his teeth was shining like a diamond in the pale moonlight as his green beefcake said with pride "Let's check this thing out!"

Back at the Powerhouse, Clement was still jogging along on the treadmill taking it nice and slowly as his legs moved at the same pace as the speed of the moving belt turning backwards with sweat pouring down from his cheeks.
Sethrophe stood right close to him with his arms crossed and his finger from his right hand on his mouth as he watches the lizard jog to his hearts content. "Well, this is actually very fun." The lizard said with bits of panting in-between every two words.

The titanic king cobra gave Clement two thumbs up for making great progress in his fitness journey with the small lizard smiling at the mountain of hard scales and even harder muscles appreciation for his incredible endurance that he never knew he had. He pressed the stop button on the treadmill and the belt came to a screeching halt as the lizard breathed while bent over trying to get his breath back, just then Sethrophe offered him a cold bottle of water from the vending machine by the side of the reception desk which the lizard happily takes it from his big hands and took a big sip from it.

"Glad you enjoyed the workout, seems like you're really into it." Sethrophe said to the lizard as he gets off the treadmill with sweat coming down from his head like a fountain and breathing at a steady pace. "Thank you Sethrophe, i'm sure Joey and Nathan will be very proud." he said managing to crack a little smile while he slowly gets the energy to keep going. He walks to the bench that is near the window in the corner of the gym right close to the reception desk where he then sits on it before taking another sip of water to cool himself down.

"You know, I put in lots of work to craft this titanic body. Everyday I put my body to the test by bench pressing some of the heaviest weights that anyone had ever seen in their life. I'm talking at least three hundred barbells all in one mega weight which I grabbed with my hands and lifted that while listening to some interesting Audiobooks, and eat a protein packed meal everyday. My muscles grew with my hard work and I was rewarded for all this with a powerful body of a true king." He said in a very prideful way that makes him come off as a big and mighty king which he was on his home planet, and proudly flexed his biceps in front of the small lizard as hard as he can making them grow bigger with veins popping out on each of his arms.

Clement was in awe when he saw this cobra's awesome biceps with his mouth wide open and eyes full of wonder as the king cobra gives him a nice little wink that made him jump up in the air with joy. Just then he realised what he had done in front of the interplanetary king of scaly beef from another galaxy and his cheeks starts to completely turn pink with embarrassment as he said "Oh sorry about that. I just got a little excited because I love big bodybuilders like Joey and his friends for their confidence and amazing muscles. But it's not just that, they are some of the nicest guys I have met in a long time. And since I was mostly away from the outside world I never attempted to make friends, I wanted to but I didn't have to courage to do it." Suddenly the pink parts of his cheeks fades away as his expression turned into that of confidence as he proudly says "With them and you helping me out, i'll never be scared or shy ever again."

Those words struck a cord with Sethrophe as deep down despite him being a titan of power, he's a gentle giant much like Joey because he sees that Clement wants to break out of his scared, closed off shell and enjoy the many wonderful thing that the outside world has to offer him, and that it's not healthy to stay in the house for your entire life. With newfound hope for his future as a awesome bodybuilder he grabbed the snake's hands that was forty times bigger that his and shook it as he said "Sethrophe, I won't let you or Joey or his friends down." and give him a nice wink that signals a bond between two friendly scaly man with similar interests.

Meanwhile at the juice bar, Joey, Nathan and Drake all sat at a circular table each with their drink of choice. Joey had a simple strawberry and banana smoothie, Nathan had tropical fruit blend that was a popular choice for a lot of gym goers here and Drake just had a cup of water. The bat
who was kicking back and enjoying the atmosphere of the place says "Nathan, how has it been since that last time we've met."

After taking a sip of his drink, the Golden Retriever said to his old friend "Well I've bulked thanks to my pal Joey, he is an amazing bodybuilding teacher and so was my step-bro Zen. I've learned all the poses to compete in the pro level and I've won a couple contests.
