In all their fluffy and fishy glory, I'm very proud to reintroduce my fursona to the fandom once more! Xevy is a Swolfpert, a unique hybrid species that crosses the Mud Fish PokΓ©mon Swampert with an anthropomorphic Wolf.
At first glance, Xevy is laid-back, fun loving and does seem pretty innocent and maybe a lil basic in terms of appearance and what they are capable of, but do not let that fool ya...My longtime followers have witnessed all the adventures and shenanigans they have gone on in past arts, and they have even inherited some souvenirs from the experience in the form of abilities they utilize, such as...
Swampert traits - Is capable of many of Swampert's natural feats, such as enhanced strength (with rock-hard arms to match), jet-ski rivaling swimming speeds, being able to thrive on both land & water, and sensing nearby movements & distant storms. When interacting or battling other 'Mon's, Xevy is classified as a Water/Ground type. Just go on, try to use an Electric-type attack on 'em >:3
Moveset - Comes with being part PokΓ©mon. His moves are Mud Bomb, Brick Break, Hydro Pump and Dig. They can also use TMs to learn different moves, at least ones a regular Swampert can learn and use.
Wolf traits - Outside of an aquatic environment, Xevy is far from helpless. An highly developed sense of smell from his orange nose helps discern the good, the bad, and the ugly in the world, while his fur coat pulls double duty keeping him warm in the cold and keeping foreign substances from becoming trapped in the hairs. In tandem with his Swampert half's powerful eyesight, and orange gills on their cheeks that let him breathe underwater, The wolf-feesh is well prepared to survive in the wilderness.
Inkling traits - After repeatedly competing in the Turf War circuit, It is safe to say the ink has...rubbed off on them, and in a interesting way. Dovetailing well with their natural swimming capabilities, Xevy can easily traverse, swim in and hide in ink puddles just as well as the squidkids themselves! As a bonus, he doesn't share their water weakness, but nor can he transform into a swim form ...because he already is in perfect swimming form! Lastly, He is fairly proficient with wielding nearly the full arsenal of Splatoon weaponry (short of Chargers), but his favorite and trusted workhorse weapon for battles of all occasions is definitely the .96 Gal shooter.
Agent training - As previously detailed in Agent 260's initial appearance, they've developed a considerable level of on-foot agility and close-quarters combat prowess that is required to undergo the covert operations that he occasionally partakes in.
Weaknesses - With great powers comes great weaksauce weaknesses. Any Swampert fan (or water type in general) KNOWS that trying to tussle with those backed by the Forces of Nature in any capacity is a BIG no-no. Despite my fursona's unique form, they are still bound by the infamous 4x Grass weakness and can be subdued with just one good hit from a Grass-type attack. Additionally, with Inkling abilities comes a weaknesses of theirs too: enemy ink. Anything not in his own color
(Brown) is damaging, and trying to cross enemy ink puddles significantly impairs his mobility and causes him to sink into it. If the ink in question is green, the effects are amplified further. Mega Evolution - I've had a few friends in the past ask me what would Xevy be like if they could mega evolve into a Mega Swolfpert but I can't say I had any idea for how to present them in such a form yet, haha. But, the concept of it always crosses my mind every now and then, and it is something I would like to establish in the future for them. Stay tuned ;3
Aaaand yup! This would conclude my infodump of my sona that I totally didnt type up on the spot in the submission description box! π Although I do greatly appreciate it if you did reach this far and got to know my sona a bit more than just "oh, it's a furry Swampert", which I got A TON when meeting new people in online spaces. As always, stay cool out there and keep an eye out for more art of the wolf feesh to come in the future~

It makes me super happy whenever someone acknowledges or references something canon about my fursona! I do enjoy doing the same for other people's sona's and characters too, it certainly adds that touch of lore authenticity to them and everyone else involved~
