I could see from the top of my kiln that a thumb sized chunk of semi-molten glass had glooped down on to the surface of this one mid-firing, so I grabbed some tongs and pulled it off through the kiln exhaust hole. It left that mark you can see towards the top left but I managed to avoid it completely killling the tile.
