Meet Annabelle Stillweather, twin sister of Tara (junior by about five minutes) and her occasional partner-in-crime. As the more circumspect of the two, while she does often assist Tara in her reckless acts of thievery, Annabelle's more cautious approach to situations and level-headed temperament are often enough to keep her sister from doing anything too dangerous.

Interestingly, while Annabelle does share her sister's ability to siphon ambient energy from her environment, she lacks the ability to convert it into throwable projectiles. Instead, when sufficiently powered up, Annabelle can physically phase into the shadows and use them as portals.
Now, on its own, this ability might seem harmless enough until one realises that if Annabelle is holding onto someone when she steps into the darkness, the unfortunate soul will not only be brought with her but can also be bound to her will (either temporarily or permanently) if she so desires. Though Annabelle rarely does the latter, as it is incredibly taxing on both her energy and her psyche.
