204 submissions
Now, why the heck aren't these others with Taiyo and Kurisu up here already?? Well, now they are.
My mewtwomorphs, Kurisutaru and Taiyo again. The setting is probably about seven or eight hours before the next submission probably around noon, actually (but their prison is windowless).
Here, they've just got finished roughing out the details of their escape and Kurisu, well, advises Taiyo to take a nap, so as to save up enough energy to both break the collars and be able to handle whatever will be thrown at them during their escape (she will rest up as well) - and, honestly, a little jab over what crime he's going to be unwillingly commiting again. Taiyo is surprised by her boldness - getting right up there in his face and telling him how it is? ...And poking his nosey in the process! (Which actually cracks me up to no end.)
I think I mentioned somewhere that she was pretty much the brains behind the plot. Not because Taiyo actually NEEDS to be lead or is too stupid to do it himself, but rather because she's the more driven one as well as being remarkably better at handling the whole situation than he was and he has some troubles staying properly focused (heh-heh).
Notes: I did forget something... he's actually supposed to be blushing in embarassment over her reminding him of his role.
I do think, however, I overdid his expression just a bit. But, I generally had a lot of trouble with him in this picture, which resulted in his facial anatomy being slightly off/wrong (in general, not JUST for him, I'm pretty sure) - whilst SHE looks pretty much exactly how I wanted her to.
At the very least, you can see some of the differences in their face-shapes.
Oh, and when Kurisu speaks, it's entirely telepathically (she doesn't have the advanced vocal cords that Taiyo does). And I know I originally had dialogue for him in mind, too, but by the time I finished this image, I'd completely forgotten it.
Not sure if I'm happy with the collars or not - I just can't remember how I had originally envisioned them (I had made some sketches back then, but don't have those anymore).
Kurisutaru and Taiyo belong to me.
