I recently started to rewatch an old cartoon called Wayside. A show i was shocked to later find out was based on books. It's theme song STILL is fun and gets me happy. The Wayside cartoon is wacky and entertaining in how the school is built and how the staff are (in a way to put it) graduates of the school's wackiness. The most normal in the staff in Louis the recess man and caretaker of the school is a chill guy who goes with the flow and can handle practicly anything.

While rewatching episodes, my opinion of many characters changed. Some got funnier, some got unfunny, some lost appeal completely while others became more appealing. In honesty i used to like some like Mauricia but now i dislike her for abusing Todd almost all the time, but while Mauricia constantly punches Todd which is a cliche i hate, it's her way of showing love. But jewls? God i HATE her now. In the eyes of an adult she's just looking at any chance to punish Todd for nothing. It's not funny in the least and she has a whole show worth of abuse to be paid back.

But one character i found uninteresting as a kid has become one i wish got more screentime. Shari. The girl who always sleeps during class. I like her hoodie style, colors and how she's the calmest in the class. She's really interesting as a sleepwalker. It's a funny and unique trait i havent seen implemented since. Alot of people just get so drowsy during class and even fall asleep in real life. Shari is that taken to the extreme, she falls asleep as soon as she steps foot on school ground and wakes up like nothing when she leaves. Despite being asleep every day, she still made friends at the school who knows her name and helps carry her around. It's absolutely adorable.
