I've been making various art pages teasing out ideas for developmental stages of the Kite species. While the idea presented here will mostly be intact, I had created a different appearance for what the infants of the species would be like, and the pages I started to put together were of a different character which made me want to redo this with Sparrow instead down the line.

They have some animalistic traits that are deterministic at birth and others that are culturally granted later in their developmental state and wanted a way to explain having these while also exhibiting the traits of different animal or plant species. This is showing the idea of an animal spirit passing through the embryonic mana and imprinting some of its traits while the mana is still forming and I hope to make a page about it later.
