Well, Pride Month officially begins tomorrow. And with as things as frightening and uncertain as things are, it’s far from hopeless. So many of us in the US are fighting against a government that wants to take away our right to exist amongst other things, whether it happens to be so many lawyers and their law firms with their legal battles in court or protesters making their voices heard on the streets, as well as everyone else fighting this same fight against the same white supremacist oligarchy and all that are allied and/or complacent with it. Most members of the furry community are members of the LGBTQ+ and many of those members are transgender like myself and as such, our community is very much a target for these fascists trying to take complete control of America.

Which is why I made this YCH not just about Pride, but protest. I want to encourage more of each and every one of us that is sick and tired of all of this to take part in this fight against tyranny. Which is why I also wanted to use half the money I make off each YCH to go to the American Civil Liberties Union, a civil rights organization that’s not only fighting this same fight against this administration for their unconstitutional violations, but have been fighting against political tyranny against civil rights as far back as the 1960s civil rights movement and even further back than that too!

Just remember that I’m donating half the profit to the ACLU, so even if I did approve of any “straight pride” (I most certainly wouldn’t, but I do approve of doing any straight ally pride ones) I’d still give those funds to that charity.
