I started off only able to draw a stick figure, and not even one with joints. So, with the help of a book on anatomy, I've been aiming to get more realistic outlines.
Practicing putting some shoulders on a head, an arm on those shoulders and a torso to match - that was the order of the day. Each drawing was stopped as something started to frustrate me about it.
No criticism or compliments desired, although I'm always open to easier ways of doing things. I've already got my eyes on some general perspective practice so I can put faygos hat between his ears sometime. And sometime after that perhaps we'll get to the point where I can see a whole darn fox and stop staring so close ;)
