The Good Doctor....like, barely a week later (PDF STORY)
Minerva actually made quite a bit of a racket when she walked.
The soles of her boots for instance were crafted of a hard, sturdy, non-flexible leather, commonly used in armour and formal dress footwear, so whenever her feet made contact with the floor, her boots made a very snappy 'clunk'. It was always something she was subtly aware of, but only now actually decided to think about, now that her hearing had grown strong enough for it to get distracting. But that was good though, it gave her something else to think about, to keep her mind off-
Off what? Off nothing. There was nothing to think about, only what was going on right now. Her boot-clad footsteps were loud, that was the only thing on her mind.
It wasn't anything impolite or disruptive though, it was in fact a very distinct feature of the culture she hailed from. The Science Guild. All of them dressed not just in plague suits, but designed such attires to match their wealthy status, so a vast majority of their own boots made that same clunk, clonk, clacking sound of solid leather against solid ground. In fact it was even a favoured fashion choice of their engineering division, if Minerva recalled correctly, seeing as their director was a very eccentric man. Talbot, was it? She knew his assistant Nyctimus, they were classmates in mathematic studies, but not much about his employer. Well, outside of the common joke about how he hid some of the, ahem, 'most fabulous high-heels ever donned by a human', inside the massive frilly dress that made up much of his own plague attire. But high-heels, no matter how impractical, weren't really something bizarre to Talos, it was another fashion choice of her old home, she certainly owned some. Oh boy did she own some, any method to make her look less like a malnourished child so short, she'd almost pass for a Squat, was a welcome opportunity to her.
...Though now, of course, if she wanted, she could just make herself much taller couldn't she-
MAYBE. Maybe she could, but not now. Right now her current height was all she required, no need for any extra...size.....or fat tissue, or....increased muscle mass-
Oh, hey, thinking of noise, her suit itself made a little jingling noise as well, that was something to think about. What was causing that noise? The buttons? The stuff in her pockets? Maybe the buckles on her boots? Hard to say, maybe something to look into later. It was a nice noise though, it was somewhat in rhythm to the clunking of her boots, harkening back to the jingles of boot spurs she'd see on rangers and Imperial troops. Maybe she should look into getting some one day, it'd add another nice instrument to her clunks, as distinct of a noise as the clanking of plate armour, or the rustling of cloaks....
She should've worn hers today, actually, it was a bit nippy even inside her usual, several layer getup.
...Maybe some of the mutant form's internal heat could make the frigid breeze more bearable-
No. Noooo. The cold was fine, she'll be inside a warm interior within moments, and then back home, no need to worry about that.
Just focus on the boot clunks, Minerva Talos, think about them...
...And not....the smooth.... sultry...fleshy thumps of what her footsteps sound like in the form of those thick...meaty...hulking talons. Or how her small, dainty bare feet, snuggled all nice and warm in her boots and socks, could now swell and balloon into those monstrous things at but a single thought, like how they rumbled and throbbed in desire to burst and spew out of her boots right now-
"GnnnnaaAAAGH!"
Right in the middle of the street, the small figure of Dr. Minerva Talos had suddenly stopped in place, and let out the most bizarre, squeaking screech of-(sexual)-frustration the surrounding passers-by had ever heard, and many of their bewildered gazes immediately locked onto her form, much to her dismay.
They likely wanted an explanation, and fortunately her mind was getting used to quickly coming up with them.
"Um, sorry!" The little plague doctor called out to the confused, judgemental onlookers, trying her best to hide the crippling embarrassment that wracked through her body. "I-I-I um, I nearly tripped! Loose cobblestone, heavy boots, oh-ho-ho-ho I'm such a klutz~" And she hoped the nervous, largely involuntary chortle that infested the final bits of her sentence, would more easily dismiss the crowd.
Thankfully, it did, but not without a good number of mutters, grumbles, and whispered chatters shared between many of them, each word dripping with either pity, amusement, or mild disgruntlement, no attempt to hush being able to hide the words themselves from these....blasted, hyper acute ears.
"HaaAaaAaaagh...." The good doctor then wheezed, once she was left to resume her business, her shoulders sagging, and habit forcing her hand to grip and rub her left forearm, caressing the area where the wolf's fangs had sunk their curse into her already feeble life. "....why meeee?"
Six days.
It had been barely six days since that....night. Part of Minerva wanted to use the word 'magical', to describe the utterly ridiculous events that had transpired after her 'first time', yet the other part seemed much more keen on using the word 'accursed'. Either one sounded just as fitting, for using 'magical' felt utterly insane, like she must be completely deranged to think any part of what was happening to her was something good, something 'beautiful'. Yet every time she tried to use the word 'accursed', to try and confirm to herself that everything that now swam inside her frame was wrong, false, and pure evil....
It broke her heart....
"Ngh....blasted, stupid, romantic girly whirly fool!" Talos hissed sharply to herself, as she forced her legs to continue walking, confident that at least her muttering could go unnoticed.
"I could've stuck to my lane, commit entirely to the original plan of studying the mutation's effects on wildlife, wild magic, and those stupid scary forests, helping out humanity and making the world better by just improving our understanding of what tries to more directly hurt us, but noooooo. I had to target disability, I had to target the entire concept of flaw in human biology, I had to obsess over how I wanted to escape from the suit that literally did nothing but keep me alive for my entire childhood and beyond! 'Ooo, oh no Dr. Talos, you're losing the ability to walk? Shouldn't you just buy an endoframe?'-Yes! I should've! I should've just bought an endoframe, it would've cost just a few grand, if even that! A crutch may be a crutch, but crutches are there to help you, I know this I studied medicine, but no. I didn't want something that was literally tailor-made to help my problems, I wanted to walk barefoot in some mud, and touch some trees!" The good doctor shuddered violently as her rant grew to another hiss, before she glared daggers down at the glove that concealed her scar, concealed the truth of what set all of this nonsense in motion.
"Well...." She seethed again. "...Mission accomplished. Are you happy now?"
"Uh..."
Minerva's frustrated glare immediately vanished upon the noise of another's voice, and her now wide-eyed gaze suddenly whipped around to a nearby building, too see what appeared to be a shop worker leaning against the nearest wall, seemingly on a smoke break.
"...Well I was, for a bit." The man then continued, flicking his cigar. "And then you showed up and shat out whatever the hell all of that was, sooo..."
"I-I-I-" Minerva stammered in response, trying her best to find a rebuttal or dispute, only to realize that such a move would make her look even more moronic. Thus, instead, she merely hung her head in shame, whimpered out a "S-s-sorry...." before attempting to save face, and simply continuing on her way.
Another spike of humiliation to add to her already abundant pile. As she suspected, the curse made no improvements on that front. If anything, it was set to cause even more.
"...Why meee...."
Sooo, uh, this isn't the full story, that's just a preview. Turns out, this story ended up so long, that it couldn't fit within the word limit for FA submission descriptions. But, I didn't want to change it because I was very, really proud, of how it turned out. So, instead, I converted it into a google PDF document that you can now read and enjoy, in full, by clicking the link here:
However, sometimes catbox doesn't work, it's blocked by certain broadbands and servers, so if that's the case for you, or you just don't want to use catbox, here's a link to an FA story version of this story, placed in my scraps:

Thank you, enjoy.
Jesus fuckin' christ this one was a long, long time coming. I'd like to personally thank
LunarKeys for his help with getting this set up, as this submission is the catalyst for a whole slew of increasingly bullshit financial troubles I have been experiencing as of late, throughout this entire year so far. Without his help, this image would never exist. Thank you mate, you're the best.
But what is this image? Well, with ref sheets done of all six of my main characters (One doesn't have the bio done yet), I wanted to give something that
Catmonkshiro can enjoy doing, and he had once bragged on stream that he was so good at understanding people that, if they ordered a creative freedom piece from him, he could give them exactly what they would want, without issues. And ever since he made that brag, I wanted to call it, to see how well he understood me despite us not being very close, because I really like it, when people understand me. It makes me feel good whenever someone just...gets me, y'know?
So, I had decided to hand him Minerva for a creative freedom project, with the only request being "Please do something fun with her talons."
And uuuh...well, he probably thinks I like things a lot more intensely than I actually do, but fuck man, I'm not complaining. Hell I do like the ridiculous stuff sometimes, we all do, don't we?
I'm just glad I got to get more Shiro content of Minerva, because she's already such a wonderful little character of mine, and Shiro is just...really fuckin' good at drawing birds, clearly.
So, thank you for being so patient with this, it's a miracle it's even managed to exist in the first place.
So please...pleeease enjoy it. pls.

Oh, i do enjoy it, i enjoy it very much! :D
Both the picture and the story are great! It might be my favourite rendition of Minerva, personally. But i'm biased when it comes to growth, transformation and big, BIG sizes, so yeeeah ^^
Either way, i hope the hardships won't discourage you, and that any troubles of yours go away and stay away~

This is actually her very early on in her wereraven days, like as the story says her first ever changes were literally only a few days ago, so overtime, especially after gaining Mercutio and Shiny as companions, does she actually become accustomed to everything.
