Good day.
I am having thoughts of trying to gather up a group for art lessons. Due to I can teach somethings - and regular CG art courses tend to cost around 30.000-50.000$, mostly aimed for conveyor-style teaching.
Easy to get a grasp of what I can do in terms of skill:

🔸 1 lesson per week (1.5-2 hours) via Discord.
We sit and I teach. Explain and show all the things on a related topic, answer all the questions. You listen, watch, ask questions, take notes - whatever helps you.
Whole program is going to be "express"-style, means one lesson - one topic. I don't need you to pay me for just... watching you draw. That's what homework is for, you only pay for active sessions and tutoring.
🔸 Homework.
I give homework on a related topic - and you have a lot of time to do it. If something is unclear - come and ask, I'll re-explain and help. Prior to next lesson I gather your homeworks and check - can keep it anonymous, can share with the rest of the group.
This is MANDATORY, because there is no way you are going to learn something without practice-practice-practice. No magic pill exists, unless you are a gifted wonderchild (if you are - you're not reading this).
🔸 If some topic is unclear - I will re-explain and can take on additional personal lessons.
it is fine to be slower than others, we all learn at our own pace. I'll help.
🔸 10$ per lesson (same for extras).
I am not aiming to gain much from this initiative, I wish to see if my skills can be passed on.
🔸 Basic level.
Basic academics, anatomy, composition and geometry. These things are a MUST HAVE for pretty much any art, because otherwise you fail to understand geometry. A thing that, pretty much, demines shapes and objects perception around us.
🔸 Advanced level.
Advanced composition, rendering, colour theory, style development.
🔸 Basic design.
General rules and directions on how designing works, basic architecture block, basic technical art.
🔸 Individual approach.
That is needed if you have a certain skill and hold in art world, but general guidelines are not enough for you - then you need individual program, because you already can tell what you aim for.
🔸 At least some understanding in art.
Means you can be zero in it, but you ARE trying something. Because some momentary impulse of "I wanna art!" is not going t get you anywhere, art is practice, lots of it. And lots of study. Rest is achiavable - and I'll help with that.
🔸 Certain "knowledge stockpile".
It is exceptionally hard to develop style or work on a design, if you never read books, barely watched anything but TikTok and never played any games, except "Tetris". You will fail badly with no "bricks" to build your work from - and I can not upload my mind to yours. You really need to fill that head of yours with many things first.
Play "God of War", read Lem's "Invincible", watch old "Star Wars" - and it is something to start from.
🔸 PayPal.
For payments.
🔸 Discord.
For lessons. Microphone is not mandatory, but -really- helps me due to we are having a life lesson, after all.
🔸 English.
For speaking words.
Now, if you are interested - do comment with the name of a block you are interested in, so I can see the feedback and decide, if we can arrange that.
If any questions are present - go ahead, do ask.
PS: keep in mind the time difference, please.
Mine is GMT+3, but I mostly live at night time, so around 12:00 - 03:00 of local time.

sounds like you are inexperienced in regards to teaching
dont forget to consider there might be people like me who when it comes to art has stuff like ADHD that might render them highly challenged in the ability to learning to make art
is afterall pretty hard to learn something if your brain spazz out whenever you try to focus on it
if you fail to teach people then it does not automatically mean you cant teach
it just means you too need some practice on how to teach just as they do at how to art
and boi am i tempted to join in...but i think ill have to settle with giving you some encouragement
i really hope this works out for you really well

iam sorry if this is gonna sound like a atempt to make use of your offer without paying for it and you are free to tell me ''no money no answer'' i will accept that
but
looking at the comment below it got me thinking
the reason why this offer is only tempting to me and not one i jump on is because my brain is in a state of ''does not get it'' but not because i dont get it but because its not learning what iam trying to teach it
and i can only see that as the pratice i have done to try and learn doing art is either wrong for me or i need a type of pratice to teach my brain to be in a state of ''does get it''
what i need is not a tutor but a type of pratice that can make my brain go from just understanding art to actually internalizing it so that i can go from zero to anywhere else
and just pratice, pratice, pratice has not solved it
my brain just did not take in the pratice i have done in the past no matter how insistently i did it over a period of 2 years with a wacom 16'
iam still at some point between 0 and basic
are you familiar with what i mean or does it sound too similar to the issue of someone who just needs more pratice
i really feel like the issue is either i tried to pratice the wrong things and therefore couldnt figure out wether or not i made a difference or my brain just failed to take any of it in
i refuse to blame it on talent as i believe all talent is a result of effort and iam stubborn enough to try again and again but i cant get myself to grab opportunities like this that costs money as long as i believe myself incapable of actually making use of what is provided
its also entirely possible its just my ADHD kneecapping any and all effort i have and ever will give preventing me from getting past 0 but i cant tell the difference

Issue is partly in brains (that ADHD), part in learning mechanics.
Roughly: pretty much EVERYTHING you learn in life is divided into reflexes and perception. Reflexes are inborn and developed, perception is audial, visual, associative.
Each person relies on different types and mixes of said perception memorizing (for example, I am mostly audible + associative), plus partially synesthetic. Each person has it's own "optimal cocktail" for learning.
"Practice-practice" part is 90% needed to mechanically teach your brain how to use you hands to draw things - provoke new neurons connections and polish habit of drawing attention to right things. Rest is finding "your" algorithm for learning and giving you materials through this algorithm.
If brain issues are significant - you need a trained medic in the first place.

good answer
while it does not help me change anything as it more or less align with the answer i already had arrived to
it does however help me gain better clarity on the perspective so that i can act on it rather than just have a fuzzy idea about the answer
can you point me in the direction of tools or methods to figure out my ''algorithm'' with less trial and error than going in blind?
never really given it much thought to it despite being semi-aware of it
and about the medic part
my doctor did their job some years ago looked into it and ended up with giving me a prescription and i can recommend people with ADHD problems to seek the same assistance...its not a magic pill but it does reduce the challenge
hurray for healthcare doing its purpose
thank you for the help and hope i didnt bother you too much with my troubles

if you ever had that moment where you hide your face in you hand or pinch your nose bridge while going all ''riiiiiiiggghhttt'' as something that is not just reasonable but perfectly obvious just got told to you and you realise your mind had just discarded the very idea of even considering that line of thought till then
that is just about how iam doing right now as it sink in that i have been bypassing the obvious course of action that has always has been and still is available to me of getting taught by another person instead of free guides and stuff
my issue is i have gotten so used to not being able to get help that i had stopped even considering it and option
i have no way of conveying how silly i feel or how thankful i am for being being reminded of something so simple
its not sarcasm btw
my mind really was rejecting even the idea of it
i might be getting back to your offer in the future granted you still offer it then once i manage to change my brain chemistry to be a tad more open to the idea of being taught by and actual person again

Just yesterday I had one of my reoccurring rough spells during which my failure to pursue art over the years throughout the ego-straining first stages pained me. Seeing the timing of this opportunity being posted, I feel as if I should kick myself were I to not take up this opportunity.
I'd be interested in a basic level course and my time zone is Central European Summer Time so I think my schedule would line up well.
I also have a friend who is much like me in this regard so I'll show this to him. Although I believe his timezone to be 7 hours behind yours

I'm actually really interested in this!
All my art experience comes from just brute forcing making drawings, so developing a proper foundation sounds really appealing to me!
You're also teaching a very different style from what I normally do, so I'm genuinely interested in learning from you, and I think there's a lot I could learn.
I know my level isn't anywhere near yours, but I'd be willing to work hard to catch up
I live in Central European Summer Time just like the guy above me

Admittedly, I am very interested in this. However, I'm just worried that my timezone may hinder the process too much (though I do have flexible waking and working hours).
I'm especially interested in the "Basic" category, since my time doing art has been mostly spent trying to teach myself, with varying degrees of success, and I'd love to develop more in that area, and such.
My timezone is PDT (GMT-7).

Oh, this looks really interesting and I would love to have the opportunity to learn from you.
I learned to draw (virtually) by myself (with help of a few friends) and sometimes I feel that I'm a bit slow to improve.
If I'm honest I don't know if I should aim for the basics or a bit more of an advanced thing from what you mentioned, but color theory, rendering and design are things I would be interested in.
My timezone is UTC-6. (Mexico)

Hi, I've started drawing about a year ago just for fun and I've been trying to improve alone following some basic concepts explained by various artists on the internet. I'm still a beginner and I'd like to improve, so I find your initiative very interesting. Your artstyle is very inspiring for me and I'd like to take lessons. I'm in the "basic level" block. GMT +2
Just one question: Do I need to have a tablet for drawing and a program, or do paper and pencil are just enough?
Just one question: Do I need to have a tablet for drawing and a program, or do paper and pencil are just enough?
I'm really interested in the advanced level for art, but will most likely not have time until a month or 2 later. How long is the window for setting up a lesson time? My timezone is EST, but I can stay up as long as needed for meetings though. (The art on my profile is not current as well, more current art is here https://bsky.app/profile/tuscuu.bsky.social)
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Basic Level block
EST (Eastern Time Zone)
(7 hour difference from GMT+3 I believe)
I really want to improve but I have a lot of trouble seeing progress in my art while trying to self teach. Forcing myself to draw leads to burnout which means I'm all over the place. Hope I haven't gotten in too late, saw your final art reminder and am deciding to give it the best shot I can!
If you still have room, that is.
