I was intrigued with the idea of a Battle Machine that carried itself on multiple tread platforms that could be run independently from one another. Putting out a wider "Footprint" would be useful in getting through mud or snow. This air dropable "Spider" scout pauses briefly on it's mission as it realizes the pouring rain has finally let up.

I think I mentioned before in an earlier submission that I prefer to draw my battle machines kind of "Beat up" but still functioning. It makes them look more "Visually" interesting. Yes. This "Spider" took an RPG hit in it's second weapons pod shortly after it began it's mission.
I agree with you there.
Too often I've seen huge, battle-mech machines taking super-powerful blasts of (apperantly) destructive energy only to remain unscathed.
I like your 'damaged' machines. Makes me wonder if you're the one who did the 'Legacy' series of pics I saw a while back.
