It had been a bad day and he was heading up to his apartment to bathe eat and sleep when he heard something.it was faint, but a soft whimper drew his attention to the ally that ran next to his apartment block.

Izer whimpered in pain, and hungry. the latest gang had been rough, and his malnourished frail body was beaten and sore. he lay against the dumpster he had hoped to rummage through for anything edible, unable to gather the strength to move. he cried tearlessly as he realized that this would probably be his last night alive when he heard footsteps approach and looked up to their source.

Looking down at the poor being that laid before him, it looked up at him, Fear, distrust, hopelessness and pain in its eyes. it was obvious from the way his ribs showed that he was starved, and the wounds he had that he had either been attacked, had fallen from the dumpster or both.
"More beatings?" he said weakly "T...then end my suffering and just kill me"

This is a scene from Izer's past where he has recently been beaten by a mob. in his hopes of finding a meal in the dumpster he is laying against, he manages to get to it but doesn't get any further as he collapses from the assault. his arm is leaking its energy fluids, kind of like battery fluids but this is pumped like blood through the arms. Here he has been discovered by his future boyfriend when he thinks that his life has come to an end.

I was going to add more detail to the background, but it was a nightmare to do any shading.
