Karin and Diamond Snake - Inkey-Blue
I was motivated to work on another Diamond Snake story.
The OC who I created so I can do snake related stories is someone I enjoy working with as he helps me work on stories without using some of the hypnotic snakes some of you know, including one I don't think I need to mention. In this case, I was interested in having him encounter Karin, one of my favorite gals from the Street Fighter franchise.
This was an idea I discussed with my good friend Inkey-Blue and he even helped me by drawing a cover for a story.

At last, I got you!” Karin said while laughing.
After reutrning from what she felt was the most intense week of training she ever had in a while, the blonde-haired woman was looking forward to a well-earned resst in the Kanzuki mansion, thinking about this from the night before, where she started her trip back to her home. She was expecting to start as soon as she arrived there, but her plans were interrupted after her maids informed her about an issue with an unexpected intruder.
The night before, a snake had slipped inside the mansion and despite their efforts to remove the colorful reptile before Karin’s arrival, the maids were having such a hard time with the snake that they ended up asking for her to help them. Karin didn’t mind that her time off was interrupted as the moment she saw that the snake was made of gems, she was intrigued and decided to keep it as a pet.
Unlike her maids, who were visibly uncomfortable and had a difficult time with the colorful reptile, the red-clad fighter handled this without any issues. She calmly picked up the snake and carefully put it in a nearby box, where he stayed before he was put in an empty fish tank. It was during that time waiting that Karin decided to keep the snake, not only seeing it as a pet, but also as a symbol of luck. This was another reason why she requested her maids to move the tank to her room.
“I feel you came to my life just when I needed,” the red-clad said as she smiled while petting the head of her pet. Upon finding him, Karin felt motivated again. Her spirit was lifted, that feeling of exhaustion that affected her during the last few days drifted away and her drive was reignited and even considered going for another round of training once her break came to an end. Karin couldn’t believe that all of this happened thanks to the encounter with the colorful reptile and yet, she was happy to be feeling like that. “If you are a nice pet, I’ll give you some nice rewards. Some treats for you to enjoy and maybe letting you have a special place in the mansion just for you. Is the least I can do as your owner.”
Capturing the gem-covered snake gave Karin the confidence boost she needed, but what she didn't realize was that she had walked right into his trap. From the second he laid his eyes on her, the colorful reptile wanted to be caught and let the red-clad woman believe she did this by herself when the truth was that he did that to get closer to her. The snake was exactly where he wanted to be, alone with the blonde-haired woman and free to act as he pleased and after he waited for Karin to be distracted, he quietly slipped out of the tank.
The red-clad fighter didn’t look back, instead concentrating about her reflection in the mirror and her plans with her new pet. She was thinking about bringing him everywhere, buying him some collars that would match her outfits and even showing him to her friends so they could gush about it. Wanting to decide about what to do first with her new pet, Karin decided to do that while she enjoyed her time of relaxation, but before she could turn around, the blonde-haired woman not only discovered that her pet left his tank, but that he was also wrapping himself around her. Karin planned to see what to do first during her time of relaxation, but as before she could even turn around, the blonde-haired woman not only found out that her pet was out of his tank, but that he was also coiling her body.
“Diamond Snake! What are you doing?!” She said while struggling to free herself from his tightening grip. Karin recalled how some of her maids had warned her about the reptile and how dangerous he could be, but after capturing him, the red-clad fighter dismissed their concerns and even felt that they were overreacting. She saw her mistake and how wrong she was, but even when it seemed like there was no escape from this, Karin kept trying to break free and was even determined to show her pet what would happen if he didn’t obey. “You better let me go or I will…I…I…”
While Karin looked down at Diamond Snake’s coils, the colorful reptile used that moment to move his head closer to her and revealed his hidden ability: hypnosis. All it took was one glimpse at those mesmerizing rings of oranges and blues for the blonde-haired woman to start to feel dazed and while she still was awake enough to move and talk, her mind and body were slowly giving up.
“Wh-what…are you…doing to me?” Karin stammered while trying to look away from Diamond Snake’s eyes. One of her greatest faws was her overconfidence, one thing that always affected her in her daily life. It wasn’t that she looked down on others but it was more of her believing that she was always the strongest and that no one could outmatch her. She didn’t see the colorful reptile as a threat, instead considering him a dimwitted pet that needed to be taken care of, but she was now learning the hard way that he was anything but slow or weak. “Re-release…me…now or I’ll…”
Karin continued with her attempt to reason with the snake, believing that her words alone could sway her pet to stop. Her persuasion and her words did work a few times and she believed this could work again, but what she failed to realize was that the more she spoke, the more her strength waned. Sensing this, Diamond Snake remained still, allowing the red-clad fighter to keep talking, knowing that her efforts were only making her weaker. To make this more difficult for her, the colorful reptile started using his coils to massage Karin’s body while he moved his gaze closer to her gaze.
“Pretty…colors…” she murmured, her words being slurred and sluggish as the only clear thought left being her fascination with the entrancing eyes of her pet. One by one, her desire to plead for him to stop and telling him to release her faded away and the only thing that remained was how much she liked looking at Diamond Snake’s eyes and how it made her feel. A faint smile formed in her lips as the struggle within her dulled her and while Karin’s mind was still trying to resist, she was also beginning to surrender and giving Diamond Snake full control. “Colors…so pretty…”
She whispered softly as she drifted deeper into a tranquil state of bliss. Her thoughts were clouded with new ideas, all of which were related to submitting and accepting that she wasn’t in charge anymore. Diamond Snake still was her pet and Karin wanted to do things with him, but the dynamic between them had shifted completely. The red-clad fighter would have been angry about that if it wasn’t for the colorful and captivating eyes of her pet and she accepted that her purpose was to serve and obey him.
“I should have treated you with more care…you deserved better. Please, forgive me,” The haze of her trance deepened and Karin didn’t find those thoughts strange. The weight of guilt and surrender overwhelmed her and even if it was something different, the red-clad fighter was at peace, loving that feeling and realizing that she liked this role, not as the one who held power, but the one who was following orders. “You are the one in control now and I’m…your slave, your servant…”
No one, including Karin herself, could have predicted this outcome and all it took was for the colorful reptile to use his captivating and entrancing eyes to change that. That single act shifted everything and made the red-clad woman’s ambitions faded away, with her no longer putting first her goals or improving her fighting techniques or showing everyone how important she was. Seeing her in that state was all Diamond Snake wanted to as with Karin’s senses dulled and her mind submerged in the deepest trance, he had achieved his objective: finding a nice place to stay.
The Kanzuki estate was a vast and luxurious place, something that was different from those forests, jungles and abandoned towns where he stayed before arriving there. It was indeed a location, but what struck him the most was Karin herself, whom he was drawn to for her beauty and other things. Not only that, but as the creature himself looked around, he was also intrigued by some of the girls that were in the photos in her room. He still liked Karin, but as he looked at the other ladies, he was interested in seeing them too and knew that there was going to be time for that later, but for now, his primary focus was Karin herself.
The induction ended being a success, Karin was smiling, her eyes were completely covered with colorful spirals and any idea related to resistance vanished entirely. Diamond Snake could have continued to push further, delving deeper into the trance and exploring just how much more he could manipulate her, but as he already completed what he planned in doing, the colorful snake decided to give his new owner the one thing she was longing for: a moment of relaxation.
Unlike the early stages of the induction, where his goal was to bend her will to his, this time the creature with hypnotic abilities had a different idea, with him really wanting to give Karin a calm moment for herself. With that in mind, he activates his mesmerizing and multicolored spirals once again, causing the red-clad fighter to smile again. “So…pretty…” looking at the same spirals that hypnotized her before made her smile, clearly delighted to see the entrancing colors once more. During the first induction, Karin tried to resist and look away from the captivating gaze of her pet, but the opposite was happening now and even gasped in surprise once Diamond Snake moved his head closer to her.
Karin planned to get some time off after coming back from her training and was going to start that same night, but her encounter with the colorful reptile changed that. Of course, she didn’t mind about that as instead, his special ability was helping her with that. The colors guided her into that calm state that she liked, didn’t have a single bad thought in her head and liked being in the cozy coils of her pet.
This was enough to make Karin yawn, the singal that she was close to reaching that state of relaxation that she wanted and as Diamond Snake petted her face with his tail, he carefully slithered towards his owner’s bed and put her there, all while never taking his gaze away from Karin. He continued like that for a few more seconds until the red-clad fighter closed her eyes and as he was successful again, he decided to go back to his tank, eager to see what they would do tomorrow.
The plans of both of them had gone differently from how they expected. For Karin, she went to her home in hopes of getting a well-deserved break and some days to relax and Diamond Snake just wanted to stay for a bit to regain energy before leaving. That changed once their paths crossed, with the red-clad fighter falling for the hypnotic eyes of her new pet and the colorful reptile finding a new home and a new owner he now had control over. This was them now, having a connection that was uncommon as while he still was her pet, he was the one that dictated orders and she was the one that obeyed. Karin thought that she was the one that got Diamond snake, but in the end.
He got her.
