I recently went through my old MLP question articles and noticed several issues, including incorrect character names, articles that couldn't be commented on, and various misspellings. To improve readability and accessibility, I've decided to consolidate them into a single article. Hopefully, you'll be able to share your thoughts this time! If you haven't had the chance to read it before, feel free to take a look.
Chapter 1 Spike
Biography
Each of my redesigns comes with a bio, Which explains the characters so people get to know them. There are multiple sections of a bio. From skills and abilities to personality. So I would like people who know Spike well due to being a fan of him to tell me…
What are his likes?
What are his dislikes?
What is his personality?
And what are his skills?
And we saw him ice skate quite well for a kid that young. Does that mean he can roller skate well too? Or is he only good at ice skating due to the 2 being separate things?
And what skills did Twilight help Spike develop?
If he was made Twilight’s 2nd in command due to his diplomatic skills, What do those diplomatic skills make him good at?
And if he was Dragon Lord by G5, Does that mean his present child self has some leadership skills?
Are his birth family dead?
Yes, I know Twilight is who Spike's real family is. And yes, I know Spike is the little brother Twilight and Shining Armour always had. And yes, I know those 2 facts mean that Twilight's family is Spike's family as well. But what happened to his "Dragon" birth family? I've seen multiple stories of what happened to them and how Spike was left with Twilight. But which 1 is actually canon to MLPFIM itself? I suspect his birth family took part in an epic battle of good vs evil and all died to stop those who would use magic for evil purposes, leaving Spike in the care of Twilight when he hatches. But Am I right? If there is a reason why Spike was left with Twilight and her family? And if there is a reason, What is the proof that it's canon to MLPFIM?
Dragon fire
When Spike returned in MLP G5, He and the other dragon mentioned magical types of fire dragons can use. Such as transformation fire, Which is turning lifeless objects into other lifeless objects. A power Sparky has. Due to Spike’s fire being green, He has 1 more power connected to his inner dragon fire. But what exactly is it? In the G4 series, Spike is shown to teleport letters either from himself or another individual like Twilight to who it was written for. And can magically receive them as well. But the letters he can receive replies from are replies to Twilight. Why not be magically sent to her instead? Was Spike assigned To be some sort of living mailbox? Whatever it is, I would like to know this. What about Spike himself?
I know since he’s a dragon he can use breathing to shoot fire from his mouth.
Because they have wings on his back, He can fly literally.
Although a knife or sword can cut through, his skin is more durable than a pony or human and it makes him bullet proof.
He can run a little bit faster than a pony or human.
Is immune to burning.
And has sharp teeth and claws.
I want to change Spike’s power a bit. If his shots are simple fire blasts like a blast from a Star Wars gun, he can use his feelings or will or something like that to control the speed and direction of that fire blast. Either to hit multiple targets, Or hit a moving target. This leaves him with a power he can use in battle in a similar way Darkside does with is Omega Beam or Yondo with his arrow. He can still use it to send letters, whether from him or Twilight. Because he can even have that fire blast be sent to a far away target. As in someone in like another narration of the world he’s on. But at a cost. Shooting a blast to such a far away target would reduce it to a light that doesn't even destroy anything, And the blast will fade out when near the target. All it can do is temporarily absorb some paper so it can be sent to the target because it will be unabsorbed when the blast expires. He can even temporarily change his fire breath power to this function so he can magically transport paper to a spot quite near him. And he can even magically transport papers to multiple targets at once. But at a limited number though. He can still destroy things with his guided fire blast. The target or multiple targets just need to be near enough, Like in the same Area as Spike. But is it a good idea to change Spike's fire to that?
Should Spike in my redesign still be able to receive replies even if the letters are for Twilight and not him?
Why do letters come out of him in the G4 series if they're for Twilight?
What exactly is his power in the G4 series?
Does his message power in some way expand or get more powerful like when he returned in G5?
Does he have more things he can do with his fore when we saw him in G5 and should I put them in Spike’s arsenal of abilities?
Is “Location Fire” a good name for his unique inner fire?
What exactly should his “unique inner fire” be, and what can it enable Spike to do?
Can you say something that can help me figure this all out? Please?
Clothes
I mean no disrespect to the makers of My little pony friendship is magic , But why didn't they decide to make the characters anthro like some fan works have done? it could have stopped them from accidently forcing Spike to be naked all the time. And Spike is a child and beloved by many including yours truly. Spike sure does have his fans. As I said, I mean no disrespect to the makers of My little pony friendship is magic, But these 2 facts makes this accident even worse. So please reply when you come up with an answer to my questions or at least some or 1 of em. But it's absolutely important that whatever clothes I draw him in, They're clothes that he'd prefer and that would suit him.
What would Spike wear as his casual wear? A zipped hoodie? And Zipless hoodie? A simple t-shirt? A vest over a T-shirt? I've seen so many suggestions. But what do you think Spike would most likely choose?

What would Spike wear as his winter wear? As in what he wears in somewhere snowy like Alaska. Or when it snows where he is.
And what would be his rainwear? Would his raingear have a poncho or raincoat? Would he have a rain hat or would the poncho or raincoat have a hood?
Mission outfit
If Spike had an outfit he would wear on a mission to fight evil, What would it look like?
Here, use this to come up with a suggestion. It's like an Argos catalogue, but for mission wear parts. But this isn’t about what you or me prefer. It’s about what Spike would prefer. So what would Spike prefer his Mission outfit to be like?

Dragons all each have 2 types of boots. 1 pair to wear casually, And the other worn at missions and battles. And both have a metal plate at each back heal like a spur. What would Spike's boots look like?

I don't hate Spike having a mohawk. But I think he'd be better off having a different hairstyle. So if Spike were human or anthro, which of these options in this selection of hairs would suit being what Spike's hair would look like?

I know he's a little kid, But how exactly old is Spike? And how slow does he and the other dragons age compared to humans and even ponies?

1 of the reasons I can’t draw Spike yet is because I don’t know what kind of body he should have. Would he be wimpy because he’s said to be a runt and even his 2nd future self is a bit slim? Or should he be a bit thick because is first future self was a bit jacked. Here are some options in this link here?

Should Spike have freckles in my redesign?
Should Spike have any physical scars at any parts of his body?
Should Spike have braces on his teeth? And to let you know, There is no metal line that goes along each tooth in my designs. The only part of the brace is are the mental parts at the middle of each tooth. So they don't stand up too much I think.
Should I give him any piercings on the ear or eyebrow like earrings?
And should I give him any prosthetic limbs like a metal arm? Maybe it could house the shield Spike should have to go alongside his sword if he had one. But would that suit a redesign of Spike or not?
Also, Spike had those bat fang teeth. both as a child and as 1 of his future selves. Then when he returned in G5, The bat fang teeth were gone and he had normal dragon teeth. Since I’m drawing Spike in a less cartoony and anthro style, I need to know this. Should I draw present kid Spike with some bat fang teeth just because the show made him have them and he’ll be fine with them since Azymondias had those sorts of teeth himself? Or should I draw the present kid Spike with normal dragon teeth that are fully behind the lips because his 2nd future self had that sort of mouth? Maybe this can help you come up with an answer.

Weapon
If Spike were to choose a personal weapon, Which would he choose? Thought he would use Twin blades like Ahsoka Tano. But then I hear others say he'd prefer a single sword and shield like Link (Mostly). Simply put, What would Spike choose as his personal weapon?

Chapter 2 Pinkie Pie

Chapter 5 Twilight Sparkle
Biography
Since I'm redesigning Twilight, She might need a bio. So I'll need a list of her likes, dislikes, skills, and personality. So what are they?
Magic
Twilight is bright to the point that she's 1 of the most skilled with magic in the series. I want to adapt that into a realistic setting. She can still be very skilled in magic, and quite powerful as a result. But not too powerful. I want to make sure she is powerful with magic, but not stupidly powerful. Because I want to do with her and other characters what the MCU did with Hulk and Thor. Tone down how stupidly powerful they are, so as to show what they would be like in real life. They’re still some of the more powerful characters though. So what powers can stay and which need to go if Twilight needs to fit in a realistic setting? Would I give either Prosthetic limbs? Fernacular designed Rainbow Dash with her left front limb gone. Does that mean I should give her a metal arm? And how much of that arm would be metal? And vreskah gave Scootaloo metal legs. Civilization
I wanted to change some things about the changelings themselves as a civilization. The Changelings are still themselves, Personality and interests intact. However, I might need to make 2 changes to their whole race. One change is that they can still shapeshift, that power is limited. They can not disguise themselves as other races or individuals. Instead, they can modify their bodies on the fly for the situation at hand like Ironman's suit in the 2nd season of his 90's cartoon. For Example, If the Changeling needs to go for a swim, It can morph its feet to have flippers and its hands to have whatever gillyweed gave Harry potter's hands. But it can't grow gills. If it needs to climb a tree, it can grow long sharp fingers to do it. And if they're needed for surgery, They can do whatever (J'onn J'onzz did in Justice League Doom.) The other change I would make is that instead of bug anthros, They're instead Snake anthros. Because lizards are more common with Shapeshifting than bugs. I guess that's how Reptile is what he is in MK11. I know it's different to MLPFIM. But at least they would have less in common with D'vorah from MKX and MK11 than they would otherwise if this concept comes to pass. Now I don't want to be unfair to D'vorah, But I get why she sucks. They try and make her impressive by her doing amazing feats. But it backfired with hate from the fans. She was the one to take out Mileena when it should have been either Kotal or Kitana, and was also the one to take out Scorpoin when it should have been Noob Saibot. And she didn't get killed for siding with immoral jerks at all. But where did the Changelings live in the MLPFIM series? What was their culture like when under Thorax's leadership? Everything else about them can stay the same if you feel me in here about this sort of info.

Culture
Hippogriffs and Griffins are both bird creatures. So how can I tell them apart as separate races? I guess hippogriffs live near the sea and are good at fishing and sailing and often wear rubber boots due to being near water a lot like fishermen. While Griffins live in the mountains, they are great at flying and wear big chunky boots to soften their Landings due to Flying so high. Anyone have any suggestions about what’s the difference between these 2 races?

I say again, I've have been trying to redesign characters from MLPFIM. But I want to make sure I know which concepts suit which character, Or I'll get them wrong like MK11 got Sindel wrong. And I've seen enough rage and hatred online to get the point I should avoid that mistake. Spike is my favourite MLP character, So he's someone I want to make sure I handle the right way the most. I want to handle other MLP characters the right way too though. This all means I need to talk to people who are each enough of MLPFIM that they read and watched enough of it to know it's characters like the back of his or her hands. And I hold out hope that saying I want to handle these characters with care more than once was able to get how important this is though your heads.

Each of my redesigns comes with a bio, Which explains the characters so people get to know them. There are multiple sections of a bio. From skills and abilities to personality. So I would like people who know Spike well due to being a fan of him to tell me…
What are his likes?
What are his dislikes?
What is his personality?
And what are his skills?
And we saw him ice skate quite well for a kid that young. Does that mean he can roller skate well too? Or is he only good at ice skating due to the 2 being separate things?
And what skills did Twilight help Spike develop?
If he was made Twilight’s 2nd in command due to his diplomatic skills, What do those diplomatic skills make him good at?
And if he was Dragon Lord by G5, Does that mean his present child self has some leadership skills?
Are his birth family dead?
Yes, I know Twilight is who Spike's real family is. And yes, I know Spike is the little brother Twilight and Shining Armour always had. And yes, I know those 2 facts mean that Twilight's family is Spike's family as well. But what happened to his "Dragon" birth family? I've seen multiple stories of what happened to them and how Spike was left with Twilight. But which 1 is actually canon to MLPFIM itself? I suspect his birth family took part in an epic battle of good vs evil and all died to stop those who would use magic for evil purposes, leaving Spike in the care of Twilight when he hatches. But Am I right? If there is a reason why Spike was left with Twilight and her family? And if there is a reason, What is the proof that it's canon to MLPFIM?
Dragon fire
When Spike returned in MLP G5, He and the other dragon mentioned magical types of fire dragons can use. Such as transformation fire, Which is turning lifeless objects into other lifeless objects. A power Sparky has. Due to Spike’s fire being green, He has 1 more power connected to his inner dragon fire. But what exactly is it? In the G4 series, Spike is shown to teleport letters either from himself or another individual like Twilight to who it was written for. And can magically receive them as well. But the letters he can receive replies from are replies to Twilight. Why not be magically sent to her instead? Was Spike assigned To be some sort of living mailbox? Whatever it is, I would like to know this. What about Spike himself?
I know since he’s a dragon he can use breathing to shoot fire from his mouth.
Because they have wings on his back, He can fly literally.
Although a knife or sword can cut through, his skin is more durable than a pony or human and it makes him bullet proof.
He can run a little bit faster than a pony or human.
Is immune to burning.
And has sharp teeth and claws.
I want to change Spike’s power a bit. If his shots are simple fire blasts like a blast from a Star Wars gun, he can use his feelings or will or something like that to control the speed and direction of that fire blast. Either to hit multiple targets, Or hit a moving target. This leaves him with a power he can use in battle in a similar way Darkside does with is Omega Beam or Yondo with his arrow. He can still use it to send letters, whether from him or Twilight. Because he can even have that fire blast be sent to a far away target. As in someone in like another narration of the world he’s on. But at a cost. Shooting a blast to such a far away target would reduce it to a light that doesn't even destroy anything, And the blast will fade out when near the target. All it can do is temporarily absorb some paper so it can be sent to the target because it will be unabsorbed when the blast expires. He can even temporarily change his fire breath power to this function so he can magically transport paper to a spot quite near him. And he can even magically transport papers to multiple targets at once. But at a limited number though. He can still destroy things with his guided fire blast. The target or multiple targets just need to be near enough, Like in the same Area as Spike. But is it a good idea to change Spike's fire to that?
Should Spike in my redesign still be able to receive replies even if the letters are for Twilight and not him?
Why do letters come out of him in the G4 series if they're for Twilight?
What exactly is his power in the G4 series?
Does his message power in some way expand or get more powerful like when he returned in G5?
Does he have more things he can do with his fore when we saw him in G5 and should I put them in Spike’s arsenal of abilities?
Is “Location Fire” a good name for his unique inner fire?
What exactly should his “unique inner fire” be, and what can it enable Spike to do?
Can you say something that can help me figure this all out? Please?

I mean no disrespect to the makers of My little pony friendship is magic , But why didn't they decide to make the characters anthro like some fan works have done? it could have stopped them from accidently forcing Spike to be naked all the time. And Spike is a child and beloved by many including yours truly. Spike sure does have his fans. Also, Spike had those bat fang teeth. both as a child and as 1 of his future selves. Then when he returned in G5, The bat fang teeth were gone and he had normal dragon teeth. Since I’m drawing Spike in a less cartoony and anthro style, I need to know this. Should I draw present kid Spike with some bat fang teeth just because the show made him have them and he’ll be fine with them since Azymondias had those sorts of teeth himself? Twilight is bright to the point that she's 1 of the most skilled with magic in the series. I want to adapt that into a realistic setting. She can still be very skilled in magic, and quite powerful as a result. But not too powerful. I want to make sure she is powerful with magic, but not stupidly powerful. Because I want to do with her and other characters what the MCU did with Hulk and Thor. Tone down how stupidly powerful they are, so as to show what they would be like in real life. They’re still some of the more powerful characters though. So what powers can stay and which need to go if Twilight needs to fit in a realistic setting? Civilization
I wanted to change some things about the changelings themselves as a civilization. The Changelings are still themselves, Personality and interests intact. However, I might need to make 2 changes to their whole race. One change is that they can still shapeshift, that power is limited. They can not disguise themselves as other races or individuals. Instead, they can modify their bodies on the fly for the situation at hand like Ironman's suit in the 2nd season of his 90's cartoon. For Example, If the Changeling needs to go for a swim, It can morph its feet to have flippers and its hands to have whatever gillyweed gave Harry potter's hands. But it can't grow gills. If it needs to climb a tree, it can grow long sharp fingers to do it. And if they're needed for surgery, They can do whatever (J'onn J'onzz did in Justice League Doom.) The other change I would make is that instead of bug anthros, They're instead Snake anthros. Because lizards are more common with Shapeshifting than bugs. I guess that's how Reptile is what he is in MK11. I know it's different to MLPFIM. But at least they would have less in common with D'vorah from MKX and MK11 than they would otherwise if this concept comes to pass. Now I don't want to be unfair to D'vorah, But I get why she sucks. They try and make her impressive by her doing amazing feats. But it backfired with hate from the fans. She was the one to take out Mileena when it should have been either Kotal or Kitana, and was also the one to take out Scorpoin when it should have been Noob Saibot. And she didn't get killed for siding with immoral jerks at all. But where did the Changelings live in the MLPFIM series? What was their culture like when under Thorax's leadership? Everything else about them can stay the same if you feel me in here about this sort of info.

Culture
Hippogriffs and Griffins are both bird creatures. So how can I tell them apart as separate races? I guess hippogriffs live near the sea and are good at fishing and sailing and often wear rubber boots due to being near water a lot like fishermen. While Griffins live in the mountains, they are great at flying and wear big chunky boots to soften their Landings due to Flying so high. Anyone have any suggestions about what’s the difference between these 2 races?

And do they need to switch to galoshes when it's wet or muddy or are those cowboy boots already mud-proof and water-proof?
And why did Applebloom choose to wear those rubber boots instead in EQG? What makes those rubber boots more suited to Applebloom than cowboy boots which suited Applejack?

I say again, I've have been trying to redesign characters from MLPFIM. But I want to make sure I know which concepts suit which character, Or I'll get them wrong like MK11 got Sindel wrong. And I've seen enough rage and hatred online to get the point I should avoid that mistake. Spike is my favourite MLP character, So he's someone I want to make sure I handle the right way the most. I want to handle other MLP characters the right way too though. This all means I need to talk to people who are each enough of MLPFIM that they read and watched enough of it to know it's characters like the back of his or her hands. And I hold out hope that saying I want to handle these characters with care more than once was able to get how important this is though your heads.
