I sometimes like to reflect back to when I first performed with the Anthrocon Big Band back in 2023.
I was excited but nervous, as it was the first time I'd played drums with a large ensemble and I didn't know how it would turn out.
As I stepped out onto that stage and sat down at that kit, the anxiety immediately lifted and I went through Take the A Train with ease.
I'm looking forward to doing that again with a different song this year. What song will it be?
Well, we'll have to wait and see!
