And here is my second Birthday Illustration. In German the pet food item "Dog Biscuit" is called "Dog Cake". So this little cute fellow is a "Dog Birthday Cake".
I originally scribbled a version of this character a few weeks ago just for fun and finally figured out, how to show the dog features within a cake. Finding the right mix between a food item and an animal is always a fun challenge
