"Á la vie, á l'amour, et á tout ce qui vient." - To life, love, and all that is to come.

I found this toast somewhere while becoming obsessed with the 'bon vivant' lifestyle. It's kind of beautiful and a little tragic, "all that is to come" could cover many things, but it's nice to think of it as a celebration of what we've got right now and an acceptance of whatever comes in the future.

The drink he's holding is an Aviation, my favourite cocktail and one I finally got to try this year after buying the ingredients in pursuit of my mixology hobby this year. I don't usually add a lemon garnish, but my reference image had one and it looked extra fancy so I threw it in. <3
