random wrestling fact: "Kiss My Foot match" is an actual thing. Unrelated to this piece, just thought yall should know lol
For this one, based on the pictures and references I got, most of them were displaying Leopard in white stage lighting. I wanted to play around with giving him warm lighting (since everyone just looks better under warm lighting :P)
So to play off of that, the venue I had in mind was kinda going off on an odd mix of ECW's 2006 One Night Stand venue but give it the kind of warmer hue of Lucha Underground. There's something that just gives those venues a kind of raw almost unsactioned feel to the match that I wanted to bring out, since Leopard is also portrayed as a heel (the villain in a wrestling storyline, for those who dont mind me being a nerd about wrestling B-) haha)
and honestly what makes a heel more dastardly than booking him to destroy a jobber? (a jobber's someone who is hired to make the other person look good, by appearing weak. Not the accurate term but what's more commonly known nowadays) So I wanted to make the other guy look as kinda... "unformidable" as I could. I feel bad that I gave him the mcdonald's color palette lol. Like if that was a real wrestler I'd see on TV i already fear I'm not taking him seriously hahahaha
I am VERY sorry that THIS is the thing I'm a nerd about xD or maybe i'm not sorry. wrestling is awesome lol

Haaaaa - professional wrestling is awesome but uh.. how the heck are you old enough to remember ECW in 2006? *laughs* Awesome piece - great move, awesome view of both soles, though... gods, soles that awesome have gotta be some sorta distraction finish, right? XD

Because that was the year I got hooked to wrestling!!!!!
My first exposure to it was a taping of Smackdown, main event was Orton, Angle, Mysterio vs MNM and Mark Henry. I still remember the finish!
And the first rivalry that got me hooked was happening on Raw, Michaels vs McMahon. And that's how I had Michaels as my favorite wrestler (sorry to any Hart fans reading this x_x)
And while I am sad that Truth is no longer performing, it might be for the better. I'd rather he walk out having a main event match first, than him going out on an injury. He'll be missed for sure!! Might take a whle before we find another comedic character that can easily do what he does, and I appreciate all the laughs and moments he's given over the years!

Nice! Those are some pretty epic first events to get you hooked. I first started watching it in around 1979-ish with my Dad, then saw the whole rise of the huge brands like WWF in the 80s. Michaels is pretty awesome, though yeah, I'm a Hart guy - I mean, Canadian and all. <3
Yeah, this is true about Truth (aka Ron Killings). The guy is 53 years old - I mean, dang... he doesn't look it, but he's had one long, epic career, and yeah, going out in a PLE main event is pretty awesome. I love comedic stuff in wrestling too - he excelled at that, as did others like Santino Marella.

kev always gives his all for the crowd, agreeing to do the most ridiculous spots for a happy crowd. he's a badass.
i like rhea, but im more of a bianca/iyo fan myself, tho i still appreciate rhea for being given the spotlight and not letting it go to waste! overall i think the women's division is in a fantastic spot right now!

Haaa... we should probably continue this on Discord or something. XD Yeah, Kevin is just incredible - and not just wrestling, his promotion, his comedy; he just "gets it" from end to end. Ooooooooo, and yes, I like Bianca and Iyo too! Iyo is mind-blowing to watch. Asuka/Kana is pretty amazing too for *super* fast move reversals and submissions and stuff.
i'd say look it up but i wouldnt recommend it lol. Theres not a ton of instances where that match stipulation happens but it is what it is: The loser has to kiss the winner's feet at the end of the match (most times the loser doesn't want to, so the winner forcefully gets them to kiss their feet lol)
