When Pountach had spoken with Abigail earlier, the sheep had told him that she had been meant to meet up with a coworker who was going to help her with her camping trip but that they missed the ferry on the island. Abigail mentioned that they were a mountain bluebird who also owned an older model car that the horse might be interested in taking pictures of. Pountach said he’d keep an eye out for her on his way back, figuring he’d get a shot at something like an Oldsmobile or a Plymouth if Abigail’s ride was any indicator of car budget.
After the ride back he happened to spot said bird, as they came to talk to the ferry captain about the next day’s travel times. Once the bird finished her conversation, Pountach came over and introduced himself and mentioned how he knew Abigail and how the sheep had assisted in his project. The bird shook his hand with a smile and introduced herself as Wren and confirmed that she did in fact have an older car and wouldn’t object to giving him a hand as well. She motioned for him to follow her off to a nearby parking lot and to his surprise she stopped at a cherry red Ferrari 308 GTS.
The poor man could barely keep his erection down. “You own a fucking 308?!” He finally managed to get out.
Wren just smiled at him “A girl’s got to look good.”
