This costume design is not an exact copy of the one worn by Errol Flynn in the movie “The Sea Hawk”, but it is largely based on it. Additionally, since the original film was in black and white, I “colorized” according to the color schemes of other movies placed in the same historical period.
I left the underlying sketch in since that is generally what is done with actual studio costume drawings presented to movie directors, producers and studio heads for approval.
Orry-Kelly was the professional name of Orry George Kelly, a prolific Hollywood costume designer who won three Academy Awards for Costume Design (1951, 1957 & 1959).
NB: Yes I know that this is not a furry artwork. Think of it more as inspirational or reference art for your character’s next adventure. Laurd knows that there are plenty of characters running around here on FA without costumes. :-D

Appearances as recent as fifty years ago (the 1950's) look a bit odd to us today; male hair styles in particular with crew cuts, greased back hair and DAs for instance. Fifty years from now ... well who can imagine what "stylishness" will look like? Kimono jackets, florescent dyed hair, thicker elevating heels on shoes for men? Different times, different ideas of what looks attractive.
