Our dog is 90% wolf physically. I squee, nearly automatically, upon seeing him sleeping. He's SO CUTE. And that's exactly what he sounds like.

What if I were CaveMe and encountered a sleeping wolf in the wild, which basically looks the same? I would never have survived to pass on any genes.

Who knows? Wolves are pretty friendly creatures. All dogs descended from wolves, so someone was making friends back in the day.
