Hove Reporting in. I am inside. Orientation has just finished. I am on my way to my quarters now.

Acknowledged, what did they tell you?


They briefed us on various topics. Confidentiality, standard practices and procedures. But for what we were here for, they described it as an object capable of containing an immense amount of energy. Enough to power an entire mega-city for a decade with the footprint of a food platter.

They also told us to report any findings to our superiors should we come across something.

Same as all the others. Like clockwork these people are. Clever dogs too about their facade. Eltyrian civilians don't know about the anomalous nature of this power. Only that its a very potent energy source, which was STEEL's cover story to hide its nature from Eltyr. Damn smart move for them to exploit our own deception. All the more reason not to underestimate these people. We've been at war with them for over a century.

Regardless, keep your head down, get to know your team, do what your supervisor says, and keep me informed of anything noteworthy.

And don't flood my inbox with the same old shit. You are far from the only operative on my watch, and it would raise attention if you were glued to your comms all day. Only report if there is something worth reporting, or if I ask you for one.
