Of course, every good Saturday Morning Cartoon/Anime needs a cute mascot character to act as the marketable plushie! And since what I'm tentatively calling "100% Courage" is inspired by classic anime, it's only natural that the mascot be a tanuki!
Meet Kabu, the spunky little raccoon dog companion of Izumi Sakura the Sacred Maiden! Like any mascot, he can be seen goofing off and getting into crazy antics! That said, despite his goofy appearance, if one were to look closely at his antics, they tend to hint at the story's more... darker aspects. One that I'll introduce in a second...
