Basic info:
Blackshadow: An individual family of humans "bred" by the legendary Dusk Blackshadow, over countless generations, trained and bred to have specific genes and instincts. (© KMCStudio/me)
The runt of Mirage Blackshadow's litter, he was punished by his father and surrounding family by birth for defects, while his siblings grew up in harmony. Because of this, he held a grudge for them, and harbored a hatred for the world. In his later years, his grandfather took that and twisted it to his advantage, seeing a power in the boy the rest of his family could not. Phantom destroyed whole cities on the brink of an insanity he'd hidden from the start.

...in a way, you could say he's a bad guy. o.O It's weird to think about for me, because I'm trying to sum this up super fast, so I can't explain everything, but... maybe I can explain more of his past later, and it'll be easier to see why he could go off the deep end so fast. xD

Beyond that, he's one of the 50% of Blackshadows who are born insane. It's a pretty bad curse of theirs, but they usually just kill the crazy ones so things like this don't happen. xD
