I love the details of it all are amazing. Especially some details that I never considered that look spectacular.
I love how the blue fur isn't a single shade of blue. There are gradients of blue with some black mixed in. As for the spots in those areas, they're not just white dots but again, various shadings of the color. The same for the feathers. I love you can see the individual strands that make up the feathers. Here is another detail I never considered. Some blue color poking through some of the black feathers. I don't know what to say!
As for the clouds. Ever seen some thick clouds during a sunset? How you have brightly lit orange spots and gradually darken. How you can see more details of the clouds than you would later in the day. I feel he captured that beautifully.
Overall I love it. Hopefully I can do another YCH with him in the future.

Yes! That is something I meant to add to the description. I’ll have to make an edit at some point and add that. It was one of the many things I loved about the image.
He added motion to the feathers as well! How some of them bend down and others such as on the right wing bend up!
If I’m looking at it right, I think there is a little bit of shadow between the blue and black feathers, like there is some thickness to them and the shadow is casting onto the lower larger feathers.
