A little story as well to go along with this piece

I've known I'm queer for a very long time, well over a decade, ever since I was a young teen. I am, so very proud of who I am, what my identity is, who I was and how that has changed me.
However, I am still closeted at home, I can be who I am anywhere but home. It hurts, but I won't let it defeat me. Maybe one day, when I'm comfortable enough, I will come out to my parents.

Until then I will continue to live as myself.
