miss you tyler. still can't believe it's been two years now. it feels like much longer, and it still hurts a lot to think about.

as much as i want to celebrate you and the life you lived and how it affected so many people positively, i can't help but still mourn.

there's still so much i want to say to you, and time's passage has only built that list further.

but you wouldn't want me to lament what i cannot do now. so instead, i celebrate in spite of the sorrow, so that you won't be forgotten.

you were always a beacon of motivation, a force to have good made upon. you were infectiously silly, brimming with skill and care. you found me when i was first starting out, and now i will carry you on 'till i too depart. my closest friend, i won't forget you so long as i live.
