Value studies i've been doing are paying off pretty well. Helps me a lot in seeing shapes and how light behaves, especially around edges. I originally planned to draw Gor-Rok from Warhammer but saw this cool mini figure of a "Sunblood Saurus" on Reddit and went for it instead. Dramatic lighting is definitely a time saver.
