Sparks are bound to fly in a battle between powerful spellcasters like Tanas the Dragon (https://sfw.furaffinity.net/view/60396888/) and Mrs. Gossamer the Spider (https://sfw.furaffinity.net/view/60245687/). Alas for Tanas, raw power from Ixis magic can't beat the sophistication of Gossamer's Arcane Garnet. She only goes for brute force in her use of Ixis magic, after all- augmenting her physical strength or blasting firebolts at anyone who'd dare challenge her. She couldn't realize the trap Mrs. Gossamer was weaving until it was too late.
Not that she would dare challenge ANYONE now; the lady spider's seen to softening the rough edges on her dragon companion... making her more like a proper princess than some fearsome beast~

Really nice job with the battle in the top half, looks cool, an I like that Mrs. Gossamer's magic has a web-like appearace.
Also like the little changes to Tenas' design in the lower half, becoming more pink, her side head spikes becming curved and the more elegant hair alongside the dress really helps sell the softer princess look.

The web-like shape of her protective barrier was kinda hard to draw in the early half, honestly, ‘cuz I didn’t have many good points of comparison until I recalled Vanessa’s Thread Magic in Black Clover. Still, I’m pretty content with the results that I *finished* with, and how different the two schools of magic appear to reflect Tanas’s raw emotional force contrasting Gossamer’s reserved & scholarly approach.
And I’m glad you noticed things like the more curved head spikes in Tanas’s “princess” form! I felt it was perfect for her to have those spikes rounded off at the tips & to bear a softer pinkish color palette, to reflect the way she’d been tamed & “de-fanged” by the older witch.
