Incredible how much rust builds up after not drawing for a few days

Howdy y'all!

And happy Pride Month! Unfortunately it seems like I'm in for a busy summer this year and haven't been drawing as much. I have quite a few drawings in the works, a few comics, and a lot of gift art I've been meaning to draw. I realized that I never did a Dreaming Sarah drawing this year either. However, I am choosing not to beat myself up over it. Self compassion is one of the biggest things I've been working on in therapy. It's not about the quantity of art, it's not even the quality of art, it's about making art! Even if it's little doodles, it counts. Even if it's self-indulgent that never gets posted, it still counts! I will admit that I haven't been drawing as much because I've also been too busy playing World of Warcraft and Deltatune... so I guess nothing's changed lol

Aside from art and video games, I've been doing quite swell! Making great strides in therapy and my own identification. While I still identify as Non Binary and like going by They/Them, I don't see myself as Leah or She/Her anymore. It seems as though Leah Llama will be retired for the time being. I'll still draw her here and there, but she's much more of a separate character, rather than a part of my identity. Although if Leo and Leah ever meet, surely the space time continuum will collapse.

Speaking of collapsing... Although stressful, I am choosing to remain hopeful. The Annoying Orange only knows bigger stick diplomacy, where the only solution is sledge hammer. But with the countless protests successfully stopping abductions, Judges shooting down his ideas, more and more people waking up to this disaster, and his Cabinet turning against him, I am hopeful of the future. It's not about sledge hammer tactics, its about the people.
